The that time of year is finally here for us to be excited about the football season and that includes fantasy football, pick'ems, tailgates and everything else in between.
Our FloridaHSFootball.com Pick'ems returns for a 3rd year in a row and we will have expanded the pool of our pickers by a few.
However, this year we are going to do things slightly different (not much different though).

The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in conjunction with the National College Football Awards Association released the Jim Thorpe Award watch list today as national trophy and awards watch lists continue to be released during the month of July. The Jim Thorpe Award is awarded annually to the best defensive back in collegiate football in the country.

The Charlotte Touchdown Club in conjunction with the National College Football Awards Association released the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list today as national trophy and awards watch lists continue to be released during the month of July. The Bronko Nagurksi Trophy is awarded annually to the best defensive collegiate football in the country.

The Maxwell Football Club released the Bednairk Award watch list today as part of a group of college football awards watch lists to be released over the next couple of weeks. The Bednairk Award is awarded annually to the best defensive collegiate football player in the country after being judge by the Maxwell Football Club.
The Bednairk Award is named after Chuck Bednairk who started at the University of Pennsylvania as a center and linebacker and later on the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles.
