With the end of 7-on-7 tournaments, the completion of two-a-day practices, the 2012 Florida High School season is about to begin. With students from seven Florida school districts returning to school last week and most of the others returning this week, everyone is getting back into the daily routine that may help them have successful seasons. Eight Florida HS Football Alumni make the cut for the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list

The Rotary Club in Houston  in conjunction with the National College Football Awards Association released the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list today as national trophy and awards watch lists continue to be released during the month of July. The Butkus Award is awarded annually to the best lineman or linebacker in collegiate football in the country. 30 Florida prospects make ESPN 150 2013 list

ESPN released its ESPN 150 2013 list, listing the top prospects in the Class of 2013 from across the country. The list formerly known as the ESPNU 150 saw 30 Florida prospects make the list, the most from any state. The top ranked prospect from the state is  OT Laremy Tunsil from Lake City Columbia, while Glades Day RB Kelvin Taylor checked in as the top running back on the list.
