I only want the good guys who want to talk about FL to come here.

 

Not making a new national board for them here and don't want these boards polluted with garbage and thus making my job more difficult.

Yeah, the main thing is to hopefully have all regions in Florida accounted for and mentioned so we get good diversity

DITTO! Not making a national section on this and we aren't going to let this get out of hand with politics.

This board could get nutz if NationalHSFootball.com goes down.

 

If the national board goes down then so be it at this point. I will welcome any of them over who want to talk HSFB here in Florida and any national topics that relate to Florida. 

 

And as Vince Lombardi said, "The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender." 

 

Saw this a little while ago and I realized that is me right there in a nutshell overall with the website.

We proved this summer we don't need election to stay active unlike the "other board" ;)

There are still a few, very few, members over on the other board, who would be satisfied with this board. Possibly they don't know that this board exists and that is why the aren't here yet. I, myself, found I could no longer be part of that other board due to the amount of people who acted like 5 years old's on a school playground. Constantly berating and making idiotic remarks toward other members that were not in the 5 year old's clique. Hopefully, those types will not migrate to this board and bring the same mindset.

If those 5-year old wannabes do come over and act like that here, they will be told to take it out back and get it off of here. SportsNut nor myself are going to have time to put up with childish games.

If you are talking about the national board, they know this place exists. We've had some unofficial ads being posted over there by people with good intentions and some of them were talking about Josh setting up a national section for them here on this site. Which, of course, we have since said we will not do that. 

 

Not to mention I've already told them over there on the national board I don't have time to moderate some of those people.

The only way I will consider adding a national section to this board is if people would just behave and police themselves, but that means I would likely have to hire a full-time moderator and that is not currently even in the budget. 

 

I know the traffic would go three-fold if I do this, but got to make sure it is right for the cause not just because of people who are upset with how Dallas approached his exit over at the national board.

      First I want to express my apologies for my absence the last few months. Without going into much detail I have had some personal life struggles I have been dealing with on top of figuring out the direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com in. Things have finally settled out some over the last few weeks although I am not completely out of the woods just yet. Some of the decisions about what direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com have been forming over this time while I went through things. Part of me wondered if it was time to go, but really it is not at all. Thankfully, a loyal supporter near me in Gainesville decided to put their mouth where their money is and did a little investing and today FloridaHSFootball.com launched its first-ever Mobile App. With that said it comes with the sunset of the MVP Membership Subscriptions and thus FloridaHSFootball.com will be 100% free for the first time in a while. This comes as needing to get the clearances with Apple and Google and the current subscription platform we have is not syncing with Apple's system nor with the App itself. Its best we go in this direction to grow fans again and being able to put them facing forward with an app on their phone going forward. It seems every day these things find ways to pass through control systems.       They can definitely beat Central. My bulls is a toss up but I feel we should have the edge. EJ will be hard to stop though. Glad they not in 2A with us.
