Madison VS Hamilton county

Madison dropping off some wouldn't be a huge shock to me, but I am a little surprised by this. How good is Hamilton County supposed to be in 2015?

At this point i think it's unknown they have a new coaching staff and they graduated alot of players off the state runner up team  but they have the kids in the school to be competitive every year.

Not totally surprised by the drop off with Madison County. They didn't look strong a couple of weeks ago in the scrimmages at Fort White and I believe this all ties into one thing of their enrollment being down. People wanted to complain, but I think they are about to see Madison might just be a non-factor in who advances to state this year. I think at this point is really anyone's game for 1A still and people pushed the panic button before the first snaps were taken.

yeah, truthfully i didnt see any team their that was really strong overall. we probley did the best at the scrimmish but even we had some struggles while we were there, they can be compeittive if they improve over the summer but they are not going to walk all over the 1A like people thought at first

The words "Madison County" and "non-factor" have not been used in the same sentence like that in a very long time. Will be different not to see them competing if what Josh says happens with continued declining enrollment.

After talking with some people that went to the scrimmage the word is Madison only ran about 5 or 6 plays out various formations but once they got under center and ran the ball they pretty much moved it at will. So i would not put to much stock into Madison being down to much, They are still Madison and they have great coaching, i expect they are still the team to beat in 1A.

May or may not. I wasn't totally impressed with them even running those five or six plays they did run. And yes I was there myself. There are issues on defense as well. So them not whooping Hamilton as everyone expected in the spring (which they did whoop them in the previous spring) is a sign to me of to see how far Madison can go. Right now 1A is open to the masses. If you want to win it, you better be ready otherwise get out of the way as they say.

I agree with that Joshua, I was there as well as you aready know, lol, I know in our game they had a running back who made a few plays but they didn't do a ton more then that, now they also beat Lincoln at that scrimmish if I heard correctly so truthfully none of the teams really separated themselves, heck I don't even think Columbia did as good as they should have, but I originally expected madision to walk over the 1A but now it doesent look to be that separated as people first thought

It's just hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of Madison not being very good , I guess i will believe it when i see it in the fall.

I think they will be alright, just not as good as we are use to seeing them be. But then again I have seen crazy things happen between the end of May and August. I think when it comes time ask Coach Coe some questions near the start of the season and his expressions will tell me up or down what to expect.
