Hi Jessica, Thought I would write you a personal note rather than risk appearing contrary in public. I watched game film of Chaminade vs Muscle Shoals. You may want to take another look at CM's D-line. They are very undersized by today's standards. They have kids listed at 6'1" 215 playing. They were getting blown off the ball. Last year C-M had Davoan Hawkins and 2 other really big guys on the d-line...all like 275 or more. I think they really miss them. Against Muscle Shoals, C-M had a freshman playing on the OL and he was playing on D too in the second half. Am assuming they were missing one of their regular OL's for the game. If they were playing a freshman both ways, it makes me question how deep they are. Not that any of that will change the 3A picture. And I believe what you say about University being lanky. I see University has a very young roster with mostly underclassmen. I had thought this year's C-M would be even stronger than last year, but I don't see it happening. Unless they risk playing some of their OL's both ways, they will not match last year's D-line. And I mentioned in another post how the absence of Shivers and Williams has to have an impact..they were that good. The sad part is that if C-M did not get as many transfers as they did, they would only be average. I did not realize they had so many until I started researching the players. Have a nice evening.

Exactly! That why Muscle Shoals (something like a 35 point underdog) took CM to the wire. Chaminade was so out-coached in that game it was laughable. To the people not in the SFL loop, Chaminade and Dameon Jones seem reputable. But that is far, far, far from the truth. I never post on here but I just had to about this fraud!!

Sounds like a team up here in the north, they play one coverage (cover 3) and their offense is jet sweep left, jet sweep right, read option, and a bubble screen. I got out of coaching when I saw a team like that win because I realized they just recruited a bunch of really talented kids. Pathetic. And that right there is the difference between Florida and Georgia. I see no team in Georgia dominating with such little coaching.

Cat_Scratch, Uschool plays Monsignor Pace who is currently ranked #5 in the 4A sportswriter poll and #78 in the MP poll. American Heritage Delray is currently ranked #3 in the 3A Sportswriter poll and 101 in the MP Poll. They also play MCC who is currently not receiving votes in the 3A sportswriter poll, but is 139 in the MP poll- by the time the teams meet MCC could break into the top 100 if the Hustlers go on a run. I do agree, Uschool will get run off the field by Chaminade. Had the teams played in week 1 or 2, Uschool would have been a trendy pick for an upset, but by week 11, Chaminade will be rolling to a 3TD win over Uschool. Their D-line will be picking up the Uschool RB and throwing him at the QB.
