Update on Michael.
Panama City major damage.
Mexico Beach- almost completely wiped out.
PSJ- 75 percent destroyed
Franklin County- Apalachicola extremely bad, St George Island and East Point major devastation.
Pray for our area. I evacuated but hundreds stayed and many have not been heard from. i fear the loss of life is going to be very high.
Michael is a devastating storm. I pray that the loss of life will be minimal and that survivors will get the help they need to pick up the pieces.
But for the grace of God ...
Just heard that numerous people have received 6 game suspensions, including 4 star Safety and FSU commit Brendan Gant. Also heard that this was his second suspension handed down by FHSAA in the past year. That seems like an issue.
Right now football is the last thing on people's mind. Some of the kids probably wondering where they are going to sleep tonight. I know because after Hurricane Charley in 2004 many families were living in shelters until FEMA brought in trailers for temporary housing; many folks still living in them 2 years after the storm. Our stadium had got destroyed so we played every game on the road that year. Football became a way for the kids to feel normal again, at least for a couple of hours. Just reflecting back. Irma wasn't nearly as bad.
Hey.. You act like the ACC was hard to compete before the addition of my canes and other teams.. Remember ACC was always a Basketball Conference... That’s why y’all had that conference on lock and you damn right I’m gonna have fun with this while y’all struggle with the black Al Golden... I hope y’all give him a ful 5 years but you n I know they gonna Charlie Strong his ass lmao..
2006 was OT one so you probably thinking of 2006
2004 and 2005 were pretty solid wins for Lakeland but i think 2005 was the worst of the 2 blowouts if my memory serves me correctly
Well I won't talk about high school... I have seen more of them than I am willing to count including my Junior and Senior year where I played on a team that won 1 game in 2 years (although Sr year we were at least competitive in all but 1 game.
We are not a very good football team right now. We are improving, but lets be honest, Miami is garbage and we were not even able to beat them, so we got a lot of work to do.
C'mon Peezy, since 1980 Canes and Gators have each had only 2 losing regular seasons...not that bad. You jus worried they gonna do away with the backpack if things don't work out right this year. Maybe they could try this next year instead. LOL
I agree
I was just watching the TV coverage of the storm and that thing was strong, ik we have a few on here that are out there in the area and i hope they are ok
