Without looking it up, I would guess that STA and Lakewood (St. Pete) are two of the teams.

Pace is loading up. Not sure if they can beat CC or Gibbons this year....but down the road they may just be the region's strongest team. Time will tell.

Well no I wasn’t implying that. Vero Beach and Columbia will be teams to watch as well, I know that Vero Beach has a stacked schedule this year. They are playing Venice, American Heritage Delray, Viera, etc. Not sure about Columbia, but I can tell you now that you’re going to crush IMG at home.

Some notes about the Freedom Bowl. Alpharetta is playing Milton because they are rivals and Alpharetta is forcing Milton to play. Which sucks ass. Also Bishop Sycamore isn’t the Sycamore team listed on maxpreps. They will be a first year football team this coming year. So a lot of unknown. The matchups will be revealed shortly

Jacksonville traffic is the weirdest thing to me. Whenever I travel there on 95 or 10, the traffic is usually ok. You get off on JTB or University or Beach and all of a sudden there is just random stops. No rhyme or reason, just 100s of cars in a small area (no accident, no police). Orange Park area is even worse though. Everybody rides on the same darn road (Blanding). Yuck, I would sooner drive all the way to Fletcher across Jacksonville rush hour traffic than to ever drive to any of the Clay County schools during rush hour. There will always be the balancing act of how far will people be willing to drive vs how "nice" of schools do we insist on. I think for Fleming Island, PV, Nocatee, those adults made those decisions. "I want very nice house, no riff raff, and nice schools even if it means that I have to drive an hour each day." I don't think they are going to change their minds in the short term or at least not enough to cause Bolles to have their admissions office flooded with people willing to pay that cost.

Cocoa and Merritt Island was pretty intense in the end. Gangs started threatening each other to the point that the police were called in and doubled up. I think they stopped scheduling each other in 2013. Some MI fans were pretty snarky to Visitors the last time Cocoa played at MI, throwing insults at anyone dressed in Cocoa colors. A rival that might be better left alone for another year or so But Rumor has it that they may schedule again in the coming years.
