if you are in the Central Florida area and want to see some out of state teams, here is your chance. The Disney event might not be the Disney event anymore. This is the 2nd year the games are being played on random high school sites, and one team mentioned they were going to Universal and not Disney. Going to do my best to compile a list of available streams, both free and paid (NFHS), for each week of the season. There is nothing like sitting in the stands watching a high school football game. I have to agree. After seeing them in Spring game, I wasn't impressed. Bishop Moore shut them out for a half and they didn't look great against a down Boone team. I don't think they'll make playoffs. Same goes for Apopka with new coach and offensive scheme; their ranking is probably based on past years performance.

They're still going to be competitive. Definitely enough to clinch a playoff spot (or not depending on how the system shakes out and it resorts to a coin flip) Escambia is ready to go again. Not much to say about them. Both sides have areas that are questionable, but we will have to wait and see how the season plays out. Gulf Breeze lost their star running back. Their offense is hoping to reload. Likely they struggle if their offense can't come alive. Defense is ready to go though.

Haha, I knew they were going to come up eventually. Nobody wastes talent like Sandalwood does. It has been going on for almost 20 years and shows no signs of changing. At least DB makes deep playoff runs. Sandalwood has barely even had a sniff of the playoffs in the last two decades, despite having a roster full of kids with "stars" by their name every single year. Perfect example of how quality coaching (or, in this case, a lack of) affects a group of kids.

So let me ask you this: Of the following which one do you see as beating AHP in the early rounds?: DeSoto County, Cape Coral, LaBelle, Jensen Beach, Suncoast, Coconut Creek, Hallandale, Stranahan, Miami Jackson, Key West.

Crestview and Navarre in top 10 for 7A. Not surprising. They are pinned as the top squads. Crestview lost a lot of seniors, I'm definitely wondering how they will fare this year.

They obviously wanted to showcase Parrish who is a Purdue commit and not being recruited heavily. Henderson is being recruited by everyone and is looking like Clemson is leading. Columbus has other options, but did they need them? Nope.

One huge thing im noticing is both teams make great in game adjustments

As we speak, not only does Lakeland not have any points, they haven't even threatened to score. In fact, they have zero yards of offense! Dreadful!

TC Williams traveled 12 hours to come play a game that didn’t count against Spruce Creek. Creek won 34-21. Lol

From the Tampa Bay Area: Pinellas Park High School- Went 10-0 in 2018 and lost in the first round to Palmetto 38-21. With the losses of starting QB Brandon Coppola and LB AJ Mathis (Miami commit) to nearby Largo High School and Derek Bryant to American Collegiate Academy (formerly known as Superior Collegiate) that only leaves Lawrance Toafili (FSU commit) in the backfield for them. Can LT handle the load all by himself for a potential playoff run? St. Petersburg High School- Coming off of a 6-4 season where the talent was poised to big things this 2019 season. The Green Devils have suffered major losses on their roster, with the most of them being transfers. This St. Pete team looks depleted and it showed during their Kickoff Classic against a very good Chamberlain team. The Green Devils lost the classic on the their brand new turf field 42-0. It is looking like a potential down year for the Green Devils. How do you bounce back with the amount of talent that was lost?

Depending on which poll you are looking at? AP or the FloridaHSFootball.com rankings? Let me say first... the AP Poll has lost my vote of confidence. Island Coast who has struggled the last few years is ranked in the Top 10 in 6A. I don't even have them on my radar in their own REGION in 6A... and they only had 8 people vote from over 25 daily newspapers in the state that can vote. This is when you know there is an issue. On to my rankings - 8A... Dr. Phillips... I am concerned about. Need to see them do a little bit more. If they struggle, they might not even win the district. - 8A... Osceola... Might not be a strong as they have been the last few years, but I do have them as the second team in my First Five Out. - 8A... Winter Park... 8A has become so stacked in the North, but this could be a legitimate miss. - 7A... Dwyer... I got some serious reservations right now about the Panthers. - 7A... Miramar... They probably wish they were still in Class 8A right now... holy smokes 7A football right now! ON FIRE!!!! - 7A... Niceville... District setup is nuts... I like to see how Coach Thompson does things before I push having to place a 4th team from 7A-1 into rankings between the Top 10 and First Five Out - 7A... Tampa Bay Tech... A team that is listed in the First Five Out. But could be ranked by the time the play Armwood. - 5A... Bishop Moore... 5A got deeper. Possible Bishop Moore becomes a casualty of that with the rankings. - 4A... Tampa Catholic... Pretty close to being sold on them. They are my first team out on the First FIve Out for Class 4A. Could be ranked by midseason. - 1A... Blountstown... I have them as my first team out on my First Five Out... I am mostly concerned about the roster size for the Tigers this year which is only 22. Hurricane Michael effects still happening to this very day. It is sad. They also have a tough schedule, so staying healthy is going to be priority No. 1 for them.

If I was Belser I wouldn't want to coach at Trenton either. Sounds like a bunch of out of control players and the parents that support these undisciplined players. The Staff at that school sounds like a bunch of politically correct cowards that go along to get along. I have a feeling that a lot of this is going on at other Florida schools. You can't run a HS football program without discipline. You lose discipline and you lose games because of it. These days I guess discipline is considered something that only happened in the stone age.

I may have put Winter Park too low in my Region ranking... I am going to have to adjust it... DP has got a lot to prove after the way they struggled last season.

Found out from Coach Andrews that Mobley went down with a season ending knee injury in the Spring game. Really bad news if he already has offers. The team will definitely miss him big time. And, that is the reason I have always been against "Spring Games". Too early and not enough practice before.
