I was on that team we weren’t world beaters solid team yes but not great, our ‘02 team I was also on was a much better team. I felt like if we utilized our passing game more that year in ‘02 we could have made it to state instead of getting smacked by Venice in the 3rd round who shut down our Wing T we were running.

Florida very rarely has top notch QB's, OL, and DL (with the exception of outside speed rushers). At DB, WR, and RB we're as good as any in the country. Everybody has nasty LB's.

I doubt Vero can outlast CM, they regularly play 6-8A schools much better than Vero and beat them, and Vero has had trouble with smaller schools that can out athlete them ( Pahokee, AHD.) As Flotech said, I see this game similar to the AHD game, but Chaminade has much better personnel and wins 14-10. Going forward, I don’t see anything to say this years team can go any further than the last several years, I see them losing in the 2nd to 3rd round again.

What makes you think they should have man handled them? North Gwinnet is a top tier team in GA. I would expect them to make a legitimate run in 7a. Not sure where your logic is in this post. Actually from what I heard, North Gwinnet man handled Armwood. Numerous people have said that NG should have won by two touchdowns but gave up some BS plays that kept Armwood in it.

The FHSAA should have a rule similar to NCAA bowl requirement. If you are not at least .500, you cannot make the playoffs. A team with a losing record should be watching the playoffs from the stands.

Atlantic is a very well coached team, but they aren’t as athletic or have the speed that you would think. They will be tough defensively, but their offense is OK. #1 (DT), H. Bryant is a beast though.

This kid dominated the Chaminade offense by himself in the first half, with 4 sacks and 8 tfls (PK 7- CM 6). Coaches decided to move him to inside LB in the third quarter and we give up 23 points. Exactly in my opinion...lakeland and sta is NOT Elite ...sta hasnt even been the best in their own classification the last few years let alone one of the best in the nation. Same can b said about lakeland b4 last year. Truth of the matter is iMG is the only school who schedules the BEST OF THE BEST yearly; idc if its because they recruit nationally blah blah their not forcing any kid to play for them. Teams LIKE BTW MC MNW STA LAKELAND CHAMINADE U SCHOOL AHP (THIS YEAR) Will be considerd as above avg good to very good football programs but thats about it. IMG is the ONLY school in florida RIGHT NOW that can go head to head with any of the nations BEST & not be embarrassed; and would probably come back home with a winning record.
