Maybe Miami Central was too high. Vero should be ranked over Chaminade. Anyone who has Vero lower than Chaminade is a dumb ass. Oh wait Columbiafan logic on rankings. Chaminade played Miami Central who could play Columbia in the 6A title game so we will bump them way up. Since we have to bump Miami Central up we have to bump Chaminade up.

"Upon further review" I understand the point that both Jambun and Proseteye are making about the distinction between professional or college coaches, on the one hand, and high school coaches, on the other hand. High school coaches are, in essence, teachers on the field. That said, anyone who has ever been to a high school football game, practice, 7 on 7 tournament, college camp, etc. knows that the language can get a little rough at time. At the end of the day, I agree that high school coaches should be held to a higher standard. But, if you're going to hold them to that standard, the consequences for an F-bomb that slips out during the heat of battle need to be relaxed a little. C'mon, give those guys an f'ing break!

I haven't had any issues with Maxpreps. Two things I would try: 1. Delete your cookies/cache from whatever browser you use. If it is Chrome you can shortcut there by pressing Shift+Control+Delete and make sure to select "All Time" from the drop down menu. 2. Go to the search bar at the bottom of the screen and type CMD. Make sure the browser window is closed. The type: ipconfig /release Then type: ipconfig /flushdns Then type: ipconfig /renew Let me know if that fixes it for you. It really sounds like you have a DNS problem is all.

Pahokee (which is smaller) and Glades Central have more state titles. Probably, more high school All-Americans, and Pahokee has 2 Mr. Florida’s. So how’s MC the greatest small school ever??? Both schools have been nationally ranked as well.

Madison county needs to play IMG and some other big school next year. Madison gonna be loaded.

Badbird, I am sorry that you feel that way. I take pride in what I do, and I would never ask you to criticize another football coach's decisions. I wonder if there is ever any way that you and I can sit down man-to-man in person, and have a discussion. There are many topics that I would love to discuss with you, that I am just not comfortable talking about on this message board. I have a lot of respect for many High School Coaches in the state, and when I was in college, I wanted to become a High School Football Coach. It is obvious from your posts, that you took a lot of pride, in being the best coach that you could be, and I am sure that you cared greatly about the children in your care.

I believe that all public servants, teachers, police, politicians, government workers, anybody who collects a taxpayer-funded check is accountable, and has to answer to the public. I am going to guess that Edgewater may be one. But that is just a guess. I know in the 2000s they went deep multiple times but never got a ship. I am not sure how they did in the 1970s and 1980s.

Their proximity to South Florida should be no excuse. They can get the top Miami and Broward teams to come to them no issue. I’m not talking 3A Chaminade. I’m talking STA, AHP, DFB, MC, MNW those teams always have a hard time finding games. They would jump at a Home and Home with Vero. I guess the coach at Vero is on a quest for most wins in history or something. Lol

I think FPC will play Vero closely but will lose in the 4th qt
