I respect your expertise bro since you know About dade & it’s players way more then I ever would. but I disagree with you on this for starters we’re not NAPLES we actually have the personal to defensively matchup with central ..we have the speed,the grit, & the playmakers to matchup with central. I believe Dillard has the advantage on the D LINE & O LINE Miami central lacks in size heavy this year so they rely on playing out the shotgun & looking to Go deep over the Top or get their running backs in space from a lil 2 3 yard hitch pass & let their speed take over. I believe Miami central is gonna give our defense atleast 3 turnovers this game we have our safeties & our corners our severely underrated our QB is a beast & we have the most underrated RBs in the country whose gonna get his and then we have another RB who is bigger and more aggressive whose not afraid of contact & most of ALL WE FINALLY HAVE COACHING & they actually watch film & make adjustments. add this game being at home I believe this game is gonna be close and which ever team get to 27-30 points first will win. This is gonna b a game of who can GET & SUSTAIN the “MOMENTUM” history out the Window Records out the window this game is gonna come down to WHO WANTS IT MORE which team is more hungry!! This is going to be a close game in my opinion. At this stage, Central comes in as the favorite. If Dillard wins this one, then I would favor them to win the state title. To win, they are going to have to minimize mistakes and take advantage of every opportunity Central provides.

It would take a miracle for them to beat Lakeland/Armwood then STA. They are not in that league. If they were 8A they would have a chance

It was the first time in FHSAA playoff history that a team won an OT playoff game and scored less than 7 points. It was also the lowest-scoring OT playoff game in FHSAA history. And the first time ever that two teams were tied 0-0 after an overtime period. Playoff games ending regulation in a scoreless tie are very rare. In the 2008 3A finals, Cocoa and Godby played in a historic game that Cocoa won 7-6 in OT.

I think the edge would have to go to Edgewater just because of the travel issue. If Edgewater were coming to Niceville then we would have the edge and Niceville is a very hard place to come to and play. Loud and raucous. Niceville went to Tally to play Chiles and that is their only long travel trip this year.

Over hyped? Not sure what hype Edgewater has gotten. They were the one of the best teams in Central Florida during the regular season. Right now they are not playing like it but they are still playing. A win over Niceville would put them in the final 4 of 7A which is by far the best class.

If Marietta had come to FLA and lost by a TD or so you may be singing a different tune. 1 game doesn't make or break a season unless its the last one. I agree with you that until Edgewater actually wins a title, they are a little over-hyped. But they are a good program and good team. I think calling them fools gold takes it too far.

Yea... Think Hawthorne forced 4-5 turnovers. pahokee may have had 125 yards of total offense. Hawthorne was just to loose with the ball. 3 or 4 of the fumbles gave pahokee ball in redzone or just outside of it. Besides turnovers, I think Pahokee punt returns were key. If pahokee had 12 drives, 10 of them started on plus side of the 50. Love #2 and them DE's. Think its #33, has a great motor.

So as everyone knows the Gaither vs Clearwater game was close (27-20). Every week the Tampa Times reports on local games. The title of the article for this week's game "Gaither pulls off the resounding late rally vs Clearwater," as I read the article guess which head coach and their team was mentioned... Plant. I guess Plant was still in the playoffs until this past Friday. What do you all think about this, No Issue or Disrespectful?
