I was running a simple update to the boards and apparently because I was a couple of versions behind, the whole update system failed which meant uploading manually to the server via FTP. Well one file got stuck going that route never wanting to update properly no matter what I did so I had to wait until Tech support responded with their help and finally just solved it not long ago. I apologize for anyone trying to access things last night.

Who's going? I'm going to be in Daytona Thursday thru Saturday. We usually have a group of 6 or 7 from the board who have become great friends and enjoy the games together. Always fun meeting new posters.

If the games were in Sarasota or farther I would. But for Daytona, which is about an hour from home, I would have a lot of explaining to do to the wife

I will be there for the Thursday through Saturday games. If the Bolles/BTW game was on Thursday or Friday I would watch that as well, but four back and forths to Daytona over four days is a bit much for an old man.

Here is a comparison of both college and our Fla. high school scoring margins and my opinion of game interest based on those margins. The college data reflects all 4189 FBS, FCS, D2, D3 and NAIA games in 2019, including interdivisional play (FBS vs FCS, etc.) College 4189 Games Score Margin My Interest Games Pct 1-7 pts Great Game 1188 28% 8-13 pts Good Game 525 13% 14-20 pts Somewhat 668 16% 21-23 pts Blah - So-So 248 6% 24 -31 pts Ugly 583 14% 32 - 45 pts Very Bad 658 16% 46+ pts Puke 319 8% Florida HS 2636 games Score Margin My Interest Games Pct 1-7 pts Great Game 527 20% 8-13 pts Good Game 324 12% 14-20 pts Somewhat 378 14% 21-23 pts Blah - So-So 171 6% 24 -31 pts Ugly 383 15% 32 - 45 pts Very Bad 617 23% 46+ pts Puke 236 9% As you can see, college games decided by 20 points or less is 57% as compared to our schools 46%. This is a huge difference in competitiveness.

What, so non-football players can also enjoy being sexually abused under his watch? I don't think this is what the FHSAA had in mind when they said athletes can't receive 'impermissible benefits' that aren't available to all other kids in the school. Hey, I'm willing to withhold judgment and wait until all the facts come out, but if the school determined there was enough evidence to remove him from his coaching position, it would seem there's enough evidence to remove him from his teaching position.
