  1. My wife got family just south of Opalocka near Miami Dade North campus. Done the Daytona/Miami run many times. My record (foolishly) is 3hrs/20minutes from in front of Airlines Area (Biscayne Blvd) to my house front door (at that time) 5 miles north of Daytona speedway. I often hit triple digits when the traffic thinned out.....BMW M3

  3. Those Miami Central RBs are special. I didn't get to see the game last night but I was at the Palmetto game. Those MC backs kept running off-tackle plays and breaking tackles one after another. Palmetto was in position alot/most of the time but those MC backs were never brought down by the first defender.

  4. 11pm (Daytona) till 1:30am (Dade county) is 250miles in 2 1/2hrs = 100mph.... Zoe, did you borrow Wave's new Hellcat ?

  5. You'd need one school to hog all of the talent to have a shot nowadays.

  6. You think Miami Central is a all star team or has most of the talent in Dade lol

  7. The Rocket OL domination was a thing of beauty. They were throwing blocks down field 10,20,30,40+ yards. Sure they have great RB's, but the motors on that front 5 or 6 was a text book example of giving 100%. Any H.C.,O.C., or O.L. coach in Florida that can't learn from this title game video needs to be in another line of work.....Wizards, keep it simple. #hometowndig

  8. Nah I feel you. Oline has improved over the year and I look forward to seeing how next year unfolds. Even with non dominating teams as in the past when the teams play their A game other parts of the state are not consistently on par with the level of play the best teams in South Florida.

  10. Central has the best rushing attack I have seen all year and Escambia was not capable of slowing it down, let alone stopping it. All three of Central's backs would be feature backs on most teams. Perhaps, if Escambia could have borrowed Apopka's defensive front, they may have had a slim chance. As it was, they were over matched. Other things of note: 1. Central is the most disciplined public high school I have seen out of south Florida in several years. They don't give up stupid penalties. 2. Central's defense can be scored on by good teams. But with the quality of their backs, they are very hard to beat. 3. Central has maintained a very solid kicking game. They don't put themselves in bad field position and that further hurt Escambia.

  11. Facts and i would argue Palmetto had the team to beat Central.

  12. Oh not a cheap shot lol. But im pretty sure you know where im coming from. Weve both seen dominating teams. Both Da West and Central arent that dominating imo this year. My boy coach oline at Da West. Coach Tee.

  14. I can respect that. However we put up 30 in one half against Cent and they gave yall a td that was not a td and took our first td away saying sideline interference. We will be ok. Young freshman qb. Cent defense has to get better next year tho. But at end of the day both teams should be in same this same position next year.

  15. More lies. I take as much as I dish out. I do not possess female tendencies so I don’t get upset when people trash talk. I could care less if a person I never met in random Georgia says that Florida sucks and Georgia is better. I knew why northwestern got destroyed. I was just curious to hear the excuses from someone closer to the team.

  21. Zoe Boy, that was a great halftime show by the Miami Central Band. Of course, the Miami Central football team put on quite a show as well.

  22. Ohhhhhh so he like talking big .... on national board and when a Florida team loses they clown him or he can't handle the backlash they give him after the loss he comes on Florida and talks bad about that team that lost to an OOS team? That's crazy lol

  26. Escambia would qualify as an excellent, perhaps legendary, team per the standards of the 1980s or 90s. Before the trend of mass consolidation of area talent on a few teams, Escambia would have been a state champion mentioned as arguably the best team in their school's history. But they, along with, frankly, all of the other teams in those days, are no match for a team as loaded with Dade county's best players like Central is in recent years. They'd need to raid Pine Forest's roster to have a chance to beat a team like Miami Central.

  27. Not a running clock! Yet. Central is suspect enough on D that it may not happen.

  31. Well it was fun while it lasted lol. I did say Escambia defense would have their hands full but man 300 rushing yards in the 1st half is something I didn't imagine happening. Escambia offense moving the ball and the kick returns have really helped get them in the endzone. That 5-2 defense was a great gameplan by Central.

  32. Very few teams have the personnel up front to match up with the Central OL and backs. And, with 4 fast WRs spread out and a decent passer, you can't load the box consistently. This is what I would have said had I been able to reply earlier. Of course, by now, you probably can see with your own eyes.

    Madison county

The reason why we don't pull populations for the county is that schools can be differing sizes within a county? Again, nobody denies how great Madison County. Most coaches and fans respect that Madison has an anytime, anywhere attitude regarding playing football. They have a problem that Madison County created a charter school to lower their population for athletic gain. Yes, any student that plays sports at Madison County counts towards the numbers, but what they essentially did is remove nearly 200 students from Madison County High School's roll sheet in order to lower their population below 600. It strikes people as dishonest and loopholing a system.

  35. Come on people y'all didn't catch the sarcasm in that or you all just think Peezy is a snitch... If I didnt snitch on all the 5011 morphs on FLV (just the threat did the trick) or confirm to everyone that Neutral and Wave are the same person (despite telling folks 5011 times they are not and I can prove it but im not because that would be snitching people still don't believe it). Come on now I think I am offended now you folks thought Peezy was going to do that..... Shameful.

    Biggest Crowd

That is based off the number of tickets actually sold. Bands, cheerleaders, State Series Passes, all don't count. While I won't don't your opinion, humans have a tendency to over inflate how fast and big something is. The good news is: 2018: CM vs Kings Academy 1722 2017: CM vs Oxbridge Academy: 1355 2016: CM vs Trinity Christian (Jax) 2292 2015: AH-Delray vs Trinity Christian (Jax) 1864 2014: AH-Delray vs Trinity Christian (Jax) 1752 2013: Trinity Christian (Jax) vs Clearwater Central Catholic 1982 2012: University School (Ft.Lauderdale) vs Madison County 2193 2011: Madison vs AH-Delray 2589 Average: 1968 so basically putting the game in Tallahassee this year raised the amount by almost a 1000 people over the average. I think that is great. The FHSAA got a little lucky with a home town Florida High in the game, but hey luck is part of the equation. I expect tonight's game will be overflowing. The only change if I was the FHSAA I would make is that the 2A game should have been on Saturday afternoon instead of Thursday night. I doubt it would have made that much difference in attendance, but if 2A is going to be South Florida teams than a move to Saturday seems prudent.
