    Hey, I'm going to be out-of-pocket for the next week or so, so I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. With a couple of exceptions, I haven't met anyone on this site in person, but nevertheless, we all seem to have a connection (even when we don't agree on things . . . most of the time). For that, I'm grateful. Wishing you all a safe New Year's Eve and a prosperous 2023.

    I'm assuming it's the same type of deal they had with Venice. Also, possibility of ESPN picking up the game if Cocoa goes into it undefeated or picking up the other 2 games

    In the past there was definitely a coordinated effort by the public schools of Marion to avoid OTC. Kerwin Bell's years. As OTC fell from that standard and Vanguard/North Marion got to keep their players, they started putting OTC back on the schedule. As you see OTC start to rise again, expect Marion County Publics to avoid OTC.

    I can definitely see that. 2 or 3 losses coming to any combination of these 4 teams Jones, STA, Venice, or Seminole. I don't see them beating STA. The other 3 will be very competitive and could go either way.

    The transfer rule idea makes sense but would be too hard to calculate. Promote and demotion would do the same thing where afyer four to six years. All the recruiting cheaters would be in top two divisions without people gaming the system of defining who is a a official recruit

    The promotion demotion plan would solve the issue without seeing a real number of transfers

    Just promote top 15% of each divisions and drop lowest and you don’t have cheaters trying to cover up transfers number. It’s easier.
