To Columbia - IMG is a Central Florida school. Even though the University of South Florida is in Tampa, it's not South Florida. Plus, the school itself has been there for a good bit, it just caught all this exposure because they recently added HS football and you know the rest of the story. To Zoe - Oxbridge is a new private down here holding it down quite well in 3A. Other than that, we don't have any other new privates down here.

Here are two games for you to see on the 27th. Both kick at 7:30 EST. I assume you want to stay in the Broward County/Fort Lauderdale area, but there are two others in Miami and one in Delray Beach (Palm Beach County) if you want to venture over that way. Delray Beach Atlantic at Flanagan (in Pembroke Pines) Sunset/Mater Academy at St. Thomas Aquinas (in Fort Lauderdale) If you are trying to stay in Broward, I'd recommend the Flanagan game. Some will say go to St. Thomas just because they are a nationally-known program, however, if you want to see a really competitive game, I feel like Atlantic vs. Flanagan game will provide that more. The Miami games will be great too. The Palm Beach County one will be interesting, but would be towards the bottom of my personal list.

If you have the time to catch a game at Dr. Phillips -- you definitely have to catch a game in Miami if staying in Miami.

Well, we have finally hit double digit numbers.

For your Orlando stay, the best games for you to see would be either Apopka at Timber Creek or Steinbrenner at Dr. Phillips. Both games will be 7:30 starts on the 13th. Admission is $8 per person. There won't be any football in the Keys the week you are there. As for Miami, they will be deep into the playoffs at that point so of course those matches aren't set yet. But, if you check back that week I'll make sure to post some good options.

Yep, you can go watch American football games as a tourist. Will cost a few bucks for admission though. As far as best games or schools to see, what dates are you here and where are you located? This weekend is the final weekend of regular season games and then the playoffs start next week.

The Miami Herald has reported that Miramar has been fined $750, Miramar DC A.J. Scott was suspended for a game, another assistant Josh Taylor for six games and junior defensive end Owen Carney received a year-long suspension. He couldn't come back until Oct. 2, 2016. As of 4 p.m. yesterday, Miramar had yet to appeal. Meanwhile, Flanagan's HC says he didn't feel Carney hit him with a forearm. The HC noted to the Herald he believes this is being blown of proportion and disagrees with the ruling. In an email to the MH, FHSAA spokesman Corey Sobers said, “Coach Bush [the Flanagan HC] did not see it happen as he was watching the play.” ---- this appears to be in regards to the Flanagan HC getting hit with a forearm by a Miramar player.

Should be a good one next week. Buchholz is rolling right now. I believe I read that both games thus far have seen the second half played with a running clock for Buchholz.

Aside from the Miramar result, I am all set on my end. Will have my rankings posted as soon as I can get a read on Miramar. Dade and Palm Beaches are done and I have a general idea of how Broward will turn out but depending on how Miramar does could change the order. The South Florida combined rankings are pretty much done as well, again, just depending on how Miramar does could change the order of the last few.

Will admit I know more about Broward than the other two counties. Additionally, I strongly considered Glades Central and initially had them in there, but ended up striking them from the list. May be something I regret doing and I'm okay with that. I want them to prove me way wrong. Same with Pahokee.

Thought about Chaminade but too many unanswered questions for me right now. Also thought about some of the independents but steered away from them for now.
