Well it seems that College football is headed for the crapper. It's going to put that much more divide between the haves and have nots.

Miami Central when they beat Cocoa 20 - 0 the year they went undefeated but had to forfeit the season. Cocoa went into OT with BTW for state the year before they were national champs. 2013 was the year Harris brought out the Respect hat and beat the crap out of anyone who played them including Bishop Gorman... I will say that we have Merritt Island, Cocoa and Rockledge high schools within 5 miles of each other. All have won States... all have been in the top 25 nationally when they kept the national rankings. Merritt Island in the 70's, Rockledge n the 90's and Cocoa lately. I expect MC to beat Merritt Island this year so I'm not touting Brevard even though Cocoa and Merritt Island are in the playoffs and are only 4 miles apart.

Hawthorne has a chance but in my opinion, and knowing Madison, I have Madco winning. You have to know Madison to understand. By the way, my brother lives in Madison. Has a farm about 4 or 5 miles east of Madison high school. I visit him 2 or 3 times a year. We do astronomy and it gets very dark out that way.

And by the way, I have a lot of respect for Madco. They do play hard and are tough to beat.

This year we have a better gunslinger and Venice has 2 tombstone's with Cocoa's name on their field. Less you guys have General Custer* "The Wild Bunch" they gonna bury you cowboys too, cause them some bad Indians in Venice, and Madco don't have The Wild Bunch. The way I see it, your Hombre's done lost 3 shootouts, and those that beat ya are at home lickin their wounds from getting beat themselves. So we could say that Madco runs the cow pasture but not the ranch. *General Custer died a long time ago.

I have a feeling GC will regret letting Rashard go. It is very hard finding a championship caliber HS football coach at the pay level allowed in Florida, unless you're a private school that is. A smart school will hire a good coach and give him time to develop his team and style of play. It may take a few years but it is better than hiring and firing every other year. How many coaches make it to the finals their second or third year?

It's High School, you never know on any Friday Night if your team is going to play solid for 4 quarters.

How far does PF have to travel? 8 + hours is a long time to be on a bus. PF should drive over the day before the game.

I'm thinking the officials said the FSU players pulled back before hitting the helmet less RB. Or it was incidental contact.

I believe the foul on FSU was for a late hit after the whistle while a player was on the ground not for hitting the running back after he lost his helmet...

I think he is trying to say the coach didn't get the best out of his athletes. Could be said for many Florida coaches... they need to paid coaches more-better so Florida can hire better HS coaches.
