At least we don't have their season records or we probably would need tumbleweed so the rows weren't completely empty

So true. You could argue those three deserve the poor turnout due to poor performance over many consecutive years. But in the case of Columbia, Bolles was actually a good game on paper. If I lived in the County, I would most certainly have turned out for this game.

Our defense is pedestrian I still can see a shoot out or something, it'll be crazy if Dr Phillips beat us up in the first half like Riverview did last years, that was unexpected but not surprising too lol smh

Have a little confidence in your team, bro. As Bad Bird said, if VB plays at its best, it has a very good shot at getting to the semis. I have a hard time seeing them beat Wekiva, though. Too much speed and physicality for VB in my opinion.

Well Darter your welcome back anytime you want lol

Just give me heads up if there ends up being a game you interested in so i can get tickets for the game

If Columbia gets to the third round, I may make it back to Lake City for that game. That or the 7A semifinal if you make it that far. I think the  team has a good shot, but it's one game at a time ...

I said it last year I'll say it this year

If you want less teams from district 16 to make it then you need to pull for the other 3 districts to get better because until the others get better this will be a common theme

They could split up district 16. The Broward teams are not that far away. Now if they did, Dillard may not be district champion, though. The current problem is that District 16 is just too good. The best chance Dillard has is to move up to 7a (but then you get St. Thomas) or down to 5a, but then you get American Heritage and Cardinal Gibbons. So, I only see two possible solutions if Dillard is to have a deep run. The first is to get a lot better, which is a possibility as the new coaching staff seems to be doing well, or jump two classes to 8a. That would be somewhat tough, but at lest no CC, Central or MNW or no Aquinas, Cardinal Gibbons or American Heritage.

Centennial should beat DP, but their last time taking a 2+  hour bus ride didn’t end well, they were woefully unprepared at Bishop Moore and laid an egg. Playing in the playoffs for the first time in 8 years on the road against the defending state champs may be over their heads

Bishop Moore's wily coaching staff always gets the best out of the players they have. I saw BM hang tough with both Edgewater (early in the season) and Seminole in their final game. If truth be told, both those teams are probably two touchdowns more talented than BM. But BM very nearly won both games.

So, I would not be too worried over Centennial's loss. Hopefully, they learned something from that experience.

I feel this venice poster is really a vero fan.  yes Vero will kill Gateway.  I got Vero losing in the semifinals but I wouldn't be shocked if they lose before

I think Vero Beach loses in the second or third round. If they play Cen 10 again, I think the score is reversed. Their best chance to get to Osceola in the third round is to hope DP beats Cen 10 at home. This is possible, but the early season version of DP will probably not be able to.

The way to fix that is to only let coaches or admins at schools have control over maxpreps team features and not allow any fan with a account to be able to do it

Yes and no. Some administrations and coaches don't do a timely job updating their information.

Maxpreps is actually gonna be deciding things in Florida? Holy smokes dude that is as bizarre as it gets. Who the hell agreed to that? They should be fired. Check this link to Crestview's schedule. Scroll to the bottom where it says Nov 1 and 2nd. It has 3 games listed for 2 days. What the actual f$@k?

    http://www.maxpreps.com/m/team/schedule.aspx?gendersport=boys,football&schoolid=20f079f3-bfb7-4eea-84e9-bdd82111664c

Conservatives and leftists agree. Max Preps is crap! Maybe this would solve our current political division. Unite against Max Preps!?

Lets think about this a second

For Dillard to advance to round 3 they would have to beat the number 2 and number 1 teams in Florida in consecutive weeks

Definitely the toughest 2 game stretch in the state

I feel Dillard's pain. If they could somehow win both, either they run the table or they would be so beat up they would probably lose to an inferior team in the third round.

    Atlantic(3A)-5 playoff appearances, 13 playoff wins, 4 state-runner-up

    Glades Central(3A)-5 playoff appearances, 9 playoff wins, 2 state titles, 1 runner-up

    Leon(4A)-6 playoff appearances, 9 playoff wins, 1 state title, 2 runner-up

Ocala Forest(3A)-3 playoff appearances, 9 playoff wins, 2 state titles

Haines City(3A)-5 playoff appearances, 7 playoff wins, 1 state title, 1 state runner-up

Port St Joe(2A)-3 playoff appearances, 7 playoff wins, 1 state title, 1 state runner-up

    Pahokee(2A)-5 playoff appearances, 7 playoff wins, 1 state runner-up

Wasn't Carol City pretty good in the 1970s? I know they won at least one state title, but thought they had gone deep more than once.

Thanks man I just want the team to leave the game injury free and closer as brothers the better team will win that night which until proven otherwise is Miami central all day and 300 times on Sunday

I got some good Jamaican Obeah. For a small fee I could tip the scale in Dillard's favor. Sideline the ten biggest impact players on the Central team. No hurt, just neutralize them for one game, LOL.

Anyone hear if Cypress Bay had to forfeit games? According to Max Preps, they are 5-4. But the most recent FHSAA release has them at 2-7. Did a quick web search, but can't find anything indicating they had to forfeit any games.

Could not find any forfeit information on Cypress Bay. Would not be surprised either way. Max Preps is often inaccurate. But I don't have evidence they are wrong this time.
