  1. Plant and Lakeland have the atmosphere that you are talking about. But I can not think of many Florida programs that are like that unless its a big rivalry game. Two best atmospheres I have experienced were Plant vs Robinson in 2012, and Lakeland vs Kathleen EVERY year.

Wow, Dante Fowler couldn't beat those numbers.
  3. I watched Central get DESTROYED by Deerfield, you are underrating them. I know it was spring, but there are certain things that carry over till the fall.
  4. I agree with all of your picks, but one. I think Deerfield is going to win. Their defense is INSANE. That being said, I think Dillard makes a major run at BTW, their defense will keep the game much closer than anticipated, and if its a toss up at the end who knows.
  5. Dillard is going to play defense. Y'all have a chance in every game.
  6. Pretty much. They are a well coached football team. Not a lot of mistakes, and they maximize the use of their feature back/receiver. Good coaching.
  7. A good way to look at South Florida football is to take a look at 6A Dade. The state champion has either been Armwood, or someone from that district for almost 20 years. Every team in that district can compete for a state title, but they have to beat each other to do it. What if Northwestern was in a 6A north district?
  8. I honestly don't see much changing in South Florida. Kids have always transferred whenever they felt like it. The majority of the schools in South Florida are already over capacity, so they would have to provide an address to transfer, IE Palm Beach County only has three schools available for open transfer, Boynton Beach, Glades Central, Pahokee. None of those schools were hotbeds for transfers before the rule. Some schools ALWAYS found transfers when there was a rule, so I don't see much of a difference happening.
  9. Same thing I am hearing.
  10. IMG 3 years ago is not the program it is today.
  11. I have a lot of respect for Dillard, especially that defense.
  12. I am excited about that game also.
  13. Honestly, Dillard plays very good defense. As for MNW over IMG, I wouldn't pick it, but at the same time, MNW has proven over the years that no opponent, or situation is too big for the Bulls. I would not bet against them.
  14. Since I have a dog in the fight I will refrain from ranking, but I believe Boynton will be top three in PBC this fall.
  15. We got snow during the blizzard of 78
  16. The fact that your list does not include Boynton.....Although it was only the spring Boynton held Lakes to one first down....And only gave up 3 to Deerfield after the offense had a fumble deep in their own territory.
  17. Yeah, he has a legit reason. I wish him the best. Yusuf Shakir got the Manatee job.
  18. So who do you see as the 2 and 3 in PBC now?
  19. Were you at the game? Deefield is LEGIT on defense.
  20. They have played Bishop Gorman, American Heritage, and Manatee recently. I am trying to see where Columbia ranks among those programs.
  21. Hillsborough County severely Handicaps its teams when it comes to scheduling, so does Palm Beach. When they get to play out of county its literally an act of congress. I would have loved to see Columbia line up against Armwood.
  22. Oscar Smith will hold a decisive edge in athleticism, but Vero may be able to keep it close with discipline.
  23. Hudson is another program that is tough to build at. But the right coach can win there. I am not sure of the politics up there.
