I missed this message. I would have loved to have been there. THe old school cookouts were something I always looked forward to. Nothing like that in South Florida.

You are smoking that good stuff if you think you are easily two TDs better than GC. They are very legit this year. Ask Park Vista. I think Dillard is just better than Pahokee right now, as well they should be, Pahokee is a much smaller school, and its a down year for them.

I was at the game. FSU looks underdeveloped. Guys looked small, not enough time in the weight room. We were a lot more organized, and they did not quit. We just did not have the horses to win that game. 2 years of Jimbo not coaching or recruiting, add two years of Taggart and you get this product. We are just not very good. Then you bring in a rebuilder, not a system guy. Example, you can add Mike Leach to any program and the offense gets exponentially better. That has shown to get wins, but not championships. Norvell is who I wanted in 17, and I still believe he is the right man for the job. As for the super negative talk about everyone that is better than FSU, its true, we are down. No one else has a ring this decade though.
As for Miami. They look pretty good, but I still don't see them beating UNC or Clemson. Miami has played 3 very bad teams. We may not beat Jacksonville State. So its really hard to gauge them. I saw a lot of talent on the field. I saw some of the swagger back. I saw King have the some great numbers on those Tom Brady balls, but his deep ball is still very suspect. Any team that Miami plays that can not stop the run, and the quick passing game is going to have real problems, in the quick game King was exceptional. The vertical game is suspect. I think UNC wins the ACC this year. And I am not throwing shade at UM, their coach is one of us.

This could finally be the catalyst to take us to more of a regional model like California has.

I personally do not expect Palm Beach to play this season. But I will be out there Monday working to get better in case we do.

Also, Palm Beach school board just announced a few hours ago that they will be starting school fully virtual next month.
No they didn't. The teachers union emailed CTA members and let them know their recommendations. Palm Beach County will make their announcement after a vote on the 15th.

Same with just doing individual county leagues has been mentioned down here. As for if just this year or carry over to next would depend on a lot with the virus situation. South Florida 100% will not be ready to go July 27th that is for sure.

Just curious, districts all around the state or just the ones near metropolitan areas like Houston? If the former, that's a pretty big domino (which is what you would expect from Texas).
So far I saw two districts in suburban Houston.

Well if its like last year does it really make a difference, everyone winning is going to be south of Jupiter, lol. JK, I actually like the I-4 Corridor as the location.

There is so much that goes into that decision. The ONLY HBCU with facilities that compete with the Power 5 schools is Alabama State. Today's kids are very keen on that. Today's kids are also keen on who is playing Saturday evening and night games. Football will not be the sport to kick off a renaissance in HBCU football. However, basketball and track and field could. HBCUs have guaranteed entry into the tournament just like everyone else if they win their conference, and many schedule Power 5 schools early in the year. In basketball you could get one great recruiting class and immediately challenge for supremacy in hoops and track and field.

He went to John I. Was actually a much better soccer player than he was a football player in high school. He was an undersized TE that played in an offense that rarely if ever threw the ball. Everything he accomplished was due to his incomparable work ethic.

Well being black in those parts of the state is already likely a problem. It is what it is.

A couple of schools in Palm Beach and Broward have already gotten in trouble for it.

It came down from our county athletic director. I am not sure if it is on the FHSAA website or not.

You can do everything BUT workout. There are rules and all of the coaches should be aware of what they are. Virtual workouts are illegal, virtual coaching sessions are legal.
