..tragic story here.  His team made a deep run in the playoffs but the week before the state finals he got divorced and married a girl from the other team.  The Arkansas Athletic Association is investigating.

PBC receives a LOT of transfers, so I do not put it past them to really reload this offseason.  Oxbridge is getting ready to look at LOT different.

In-state student-athletes who transfer before a season will have to sit out 50 percent of the season at their new school, regardless of a change of domicile. This applies to all athletes, varsity, junior varsity and freshmen. Athletes who transfer during a season would have to sit out a calendar year.  Out-of-state transfers will be treated under the state open enrollment law and can attend any school without having to sit out.
Athletes still would have the ability to appeal. If the sending school and the receiving school agree that the transfer was legitimate and file the necessary paperwork, the athlete will be immediately eligible.  Any subsequent transfers would mean the athlete has to sit out a calendar year. The appeals process still applies to those transfers.  Athletes who transfer from a school that didn't have a particular sport would be eligible immediately at their new school.

He lived in Holiday which is not too far from CHS, probably had relative or someone who goes there or something to the affect.

i am pretty certain that you cannot add anyone after the playoffs start, regardless.
 

I am pretty sure I am glad I did not grow up in that time (I was born in 82)... I do not think I would have the same opportunities then than I do now... if ya catch my drift.  Wasn't all porch peachy for everyone. 

I have short hair, I don't have any tattoo's.  I grew up in a strict home that was definitely old school.  My dad was an old school football coach.  I learned from one of the best.  I also grew up in a country town that was definitely more on the racist side.  When I was young my family took in a young black man that had been kicked out of his home and we welcomed him into our home and accepted him as family.  He is well over 50 now and still comes to our family gatherings.   He lived with us for seven years and that changed some of my views on things.  I grew up in a small white town where everyone was pretty much the same.  I had never really met anyone other than white or black person until I went to college.  It was quite a culture shock but I adjusted.  As I got older (not that old mid 20's) I and started coaching inner city kids and I realized they didn't have the same back ground as me.  I accepted them for who they were, long hair, tattoos and all.  I loved them as they were my kids.  What I did not accept was lack of discipline or lack of character.  I was tough on my kids and held them accountable.  I've seen many kids that have had such horrible upbringings become successful men in society.  It isn't about looks to me.  I don't judge a man on his race or appearance I judge them by their actions.  Now don't think I'm calling you a racist because I'm not.  I'm telling you my story.  I've learned to adjust to times but I'm still old school.       

From what I know (and I am 240 miles away), the Southridge zone has more talent in its zone. Easier to build a quality program there.
If you are going to win consistently at Miami High you need to bring in a number of quality transfers each year. 

While i don't agree with how they did it they have a right to peaceful protest which is guaranteed in the First Amendment 
 
Keep in mind our founding fathers did what was considered "disrespect" but they did it to get fair treatment and they did it for the right reasons
 
While kneeling during the anthem may not have been most respectful option they weren't doing it to be disrespectful to the military, they were doing it for change and in their heart they feel what they are doing is in good conscience 
 
Also remember it was a military member who first suggested that kap kneel because kneeling is considered more respectful then sitting during the bench
 
I remember what the cowboys did when they stood and locked arms during the anthem but kneeled before and after the anthem to show they weren't protesting the flag or the military 

Having coached in South Florida, Central FL, and GA I can tell you that the only difference talent wise is that there are more people in Florida.  If you were just putting together true all star rosters GA would match Florida on a roster of about 40 or 50 kids.  I coach in the Future Stars Games FL vs GA and its pretty much even.

I think it would be interesting to compare the size of the schools playing.

However if someone plays a spring sport they can be eligible for that 
 
So you could play football at one school then baseball at a different one 

Agree cjm04. Plant's kryptonite is STA. They get out talented, out executed, and there is no coaching advantage.

Weiner can coach.  The only way you beat him is to RUN his team over.  I have been on both sides of those Plant games.  They won't dazzle you with anything.  They are going to line up and execute.  They will be prepared for just about anything you throw at them.  If its close, they usually win, unless you are running the ball down their throats.

Wow!! Does refs wouldn’t leave Traz untouch 

51 carries is way too many.  Derek Henry use to get that many carries back in Yulee as well but he was a freak of nature.  I also think this bodes well for DP.  I'm sure he's a bit sore and banged up.
