Hell of a game by Pine Forest! Even with a lost they made the city proud! I'm letting all of y'all know if these kids in Pensacola ever click up at one school with the right coach, they coming for whoever come out the south.

What happened to sixty something to zero? 

Pine Forest QB, Wilson is singlehandedly making all the plays running and throwing.  His receivers have dropped 3 or 4 passes in the first half that could have kept drives alive.  He is definitely a load and only a Junior.

Anyone at the game? Or watching it on spectrum? 

PF top rusher (#4) is might be out for the game. I've been told by a few people he got injured against Jones and is in a walking boot.  Another running back (#22) has a knee brace on so not sure how effective he'll be. 

Agreed Sunshine Network was when times were much better

Sitting here, in South Florida, and I’ve been watching UIL (Texas) high school football championships, LIVE. For the last few days (for FREE). And can’t watch any Florida high school championships…man I miss them Sunshine Network days. 

So, instead of getting a TD to tie the game, MI gives up a 95-yard pick six?!?!  Huge 14-point swing that no doubt turned a potentially close game into a run-away.   I expect running clock in the second half. 

I'll be surprised if MC doesn't roll by 50+. The other two games have a chance to be competitive, but I wouldn't count on that either.  I even think Venice rolls by 20. CG vs Cocoa should be the best game of the bunch. I keep going back and forth on that one.

Watched the replay of this game on You Tube. MNW was manhandled by Jesuit. The Jesuit defense is lights out with their players on top of the MNW QB consistently not allowing him much of anything. Their pass defense is also one of the best I've seen. Jesuit's offense seemed to cut right through the MNW defense especially #24 RB Smith. I've never seen MNW so dominated unless it was by IMG. Jesuit is such a well coached and disciplined team it's almost unfair for any team to play them. Pine Forest seems like a pretty good team. But, don't know whether they are even in the same ballpark as Jesuit. I do, however, wish them well. 

Can you please explain how Jesuit "got lucky?"  From the highlights, it looked like a pretty sound thumping. 

Cocoa's D-line was very small last year, we had two guys under 200lbs on the line then. This years D-line average size is 265 lb across the line.. Cardinal Gibbons dominated in the trenches last year. I've been a major Cocoa fan since the 80's. This years 6 ft 5 QB is the best I've seen since the 2009 and 2010 QB. Plus he has 5 D1  receivers to throw to. This doesn't mean DJ Arroyo the quarterback for the last four years wasn't any good, he was just too short 5 ft 7. But Cocoa Coaches came up with great schemes for him as well , He ended up with over 8000 passing yards in 4 yrs.

I’m just trying to make a point. It is a preposterous claim to say that Jesuit vs Pine Forest won’t at least be competitive and that PF shouldn’t bother showing up. They have an extremely long trip to Fort Lauderdale that I frankly believe they should be flying for, not taking a 9 hour bus trip across the state. I’m sure there are flights that could take them from Pensacola to Fort Lauderdale but it’s really expensive. 
In any case, Pine Forest has nothing to lose and they have proven a lot of people wrong this year on all ends of the spectrum. They are going to put their hearts and souls on that field and give Jesuit all they can handle. Maybe even win the ballgame. They would certainly beat Madison and would provide most teams in the state with a tough challenge.

Tbh I think that if it was the rockets facing jesuit, jesuit would have still won iMO.
one big thing I’ve noticed about our OL & DL down here is that they’re (SOFT) they’re huge & Big! But they have no TRUE technique, & it shows everytime a solid to great school with great coaching plays a team from down south  in FL. 
 
Sometimes you may be able to get away with just having speed & talent (Miami central vs baker) or against most local teams, but at some point we have to look at the LEVEL of coaching we have down here in south FL. 
 
do these guys really know and understand the game ? Do they really know how to make adjustments & decipher game film to put their team in the best position to win ? Do our O Line & D line Coaches down here teach these lineman to not only be big & tall , BUT STOUT,  & smart ? Nothing is more em so then having a huge line but they’re impact vs good to great teams is none existing. 
 
i get it jesuit is a private school but watching them or even watching them schools up ga, north in Cali and dc & etc, they’re offensive play calling is a thing of beauty it makes ours down here look like it was drawn up in dirt.

when I see games like this it really take me back to what I’ve been saying COACHING, solid competent coaching is so vital. 
 
so much was said about Miami northwestern talent & their speed & how Jesuit was gonna be overwhelmed & yet it’s the tigers overwhelming the bulls. 
 
why because of coaching , then boys in Tampa are well coached to the “T” & their O-LINE & D-LINE are fit,disciplined & understands their assignment. 
 
down here in south Florida we praise speed, size & athleticism but it’s our COACHING that needs to be evaluated, our o line play down here is suspect especially vs teams who actually is well coached. All I can say is CONGRATS TIGERS! You wasn’t intimidated by the Miami mystic & the bright lights.
