I guess some are for cheating but there will always be ppl like that. They have no business to be around our kids.

BTW a snitch aka rat is somebody who does something wrong but snitches on others who are doing things wrong… If a team is cheating then they are cheating… A thief is a thief a murderer a murderer and a cheater is a cheater no way around it… Maybe its an accidental breaking of the rules?

I agree they also need to fix if a teams opponent only plays 9 games. Hardee lost points because Sebring didn’t make up a game so 7-2 is Category 2 not Cat 1. Is it’s Hardee’s fault? They beat Sebring so all of Sebring opponents should have been given some bonus points for Sebring not making up the game win or lose. Also a winning team may get 43 points w/Bonus points but the losing team gets 38 because the winner has a great record. Bartow for instance and bless their heart lost every game and if they played their cards right could have made the playoffs if they had played all Cat 1 teams!!!! The point system was suppose to stop the nonsense but what it did was pleas the lower classes not us 5A and above!!! Tbey MUST revamp the system, give teams that go undefeated extra bonus points for doing such things, fix the losing points, and start rewarding for wins and quit the PARTICIPATION AWARDS as in points!! Last if lower classes has districts but do t have to play them then the same should be for 5A and above!!!!! The game has to be fair across the board!!! last FHSAA needs to separate public vs private like Texas does for the playoffs. They did that for a reason because private school stack their teams by giving free tuition / scholarships. Texas still has one of the best football around after doing this!!!

I would like to say something about one thing that’s giving me problems I cannot even sleep right now. In 2009 Hardee played Estero and back then the ESTERO HC would yell and curse out his players on the sidelines. That upset and pissed me off something bad because that does no good for your players, I was telling my son about that incident going to the game tonight. Then at the Hardee @ Barron Collier BOOOOOOM I hear that voice again, same tone, everything. I asked somebody if that was him and he said yes. How can any any parent allow a HC to just sit on the sideline and curse out the players? I’m not even from Barron Collier and I felt really bad for the BC players!!!! I will say this there is no way in heaven above would I let my kid play for that man, never!!! There a difference in talking and demeaning the players or taking a player to the side and TALKING WITH THEM. Not sit there and yell and curse so the visiting side can hear you scream at your players. You are very lucky I’m not from BC because I would confront that HC in the parking lot after the game!!!!!!

I am telling the Refs this year are the worse I have ever seen since I have been watching HS Football since the mid 70s!!!! That is not an opinion but a fact. I've watched one team get flags for this or that while the other team doesn't get anything. Its beyond belief what I am seeing. I don't know what FHSAA's policies on refresher courses for these Refs but I can tell you they need to go through one. Last are Refs used for 7 on 7 events? If so, quit using them, because if you quit using them they will quit getting paid. The way I see it hurt their pockets!!!

those ratings has been flawed for years with if you write any algorithm that says a team is this strenght but dont win by that so you go down only shows their algorithm is bad!!!!

30.2.1.1 Level 1 Suspension. A student-athlete who commits an unsportsmanlike act or a flagrant foul for which he/she is ejected from the contest will be ineligible to compete for the remainder of that contest and for a minimum of the next two (2) contests, at the same level of participation in the sport of the suspension and in any interscholastic athletic contest in any sport, at any level, during the period of suspension, in all sports except football. For football, the student will be ineligible for a minimum of the next football game, at the same level of participation, and any interscholastic athletic contest in any sport during the period of suspension. If the unsportsmanlike act or flagrant foul occurs in the last contest of a season, the student will be ineligible for the same period of time as stated above in the next sport in which the student participates; or 30.2.1.2 Level 2 Suspension. A student-athlete who receives a second Level 1 Suspension or commits an unsportsmanlike act, as defined in Bylaw 7.2.1, will be ineligible to compete in the next interscholastic athletic contest in any sport, at any level, for a period of up to six (6) weeks; or The student-athlete has exhausted his/her eligibility in the sport in which the all-star contest is to be conducted; and district; however, internal account funds generated from fund-raising activities may be used. 26.1.1.2.1 26.1.1.3 Exception. This does not apply if the contest is held out-side of the state of Florida. Fees for the student-athlete who participates in the all-star contest are not paid by the school, coach or school 2018-19 FHSAA Football Sport Manual A41 30.2.1.3 Level 3 Suspension. A student-athlete who receives a second Level 2 Suspension or commits an egregious unsportsmanlike act, as determined in the sole discretion of the Executive Director, will be ineligible to compete in the next interscholastic athletic contest in any sport for a period of up to one (1) year; or 30.2.1.4 Level 4 Suspension. A student-athlete who receives three (3) or more Level 2 Suspensions or commits an egregious unsportsmanlike act, as determined in the sole discretion of the Board of Directors, will be ineligible to compete in any interscholastic athletic contest in any sport for the duration of the student-athlete’s high school career. 30.2.1.5 It is the responsibility of the local school authorities to ensure this policy is enforced. When an ineligible student is allowed to participate, forfeiture of the contest is mandatory. This policy applies to all regular season and Florida High School State Championship Series contests.

Ejections means those players can’t play for two games? That use to be the rule but don’t know what’s been changed in recent years.

Believe it or not the Feds are the best for saving your money… Example: Whenever I got out of the military they took a huge chunk in taxes out of my disability severance pay… In Dec 2016 a law was created for all those vets whose money was taxed to be given back to them because it was illegal from the start and the military said it was a glitch in their sytem… I was owed $1750 but received a check with interest for a little over $5500!!! You cannot beat that!! Now if i can find where to put this money back into the feds hands be ause you cant beat that interest!!!

We never seen this until kids were given all this technology; phones and tablets, think how many evil games are on these devices and causes how kids think. Here’s a good example, GRAMD THEFT AUTO, one of the most evil games out there, as a player I steal cars, theft, even murder others. Every single human is born evil, we as parents must teach them with correction. Think about it every 1 year old does a lot of wrong doing we must correct them. Then whenever they are 5-10 we have to correct them even more. But if they are playing games like GRAMD Theft Auto, you as a parent, are saying it’s okay to steal, to hurt others, to murder because the game taught them this!!!! This is not an opinion but a fact this is and has happened. Many parents have failed big time and I’m not afraid to even say this, we are seeing it today in this world!!!

I was at that game and we seen many dirty stufffrom Sebring players!!! Then one of Hardee DBs yells to Coach “ They calling me ###%%^, and the ref was right there to hear it and did not say anything”!!! my point is REFS are also a issue to because they are not controlling the game and by allowing stuff like that to go on only shows refs are out of control themselves!!!

Gotcha well hopefully they will getter under control. Brawls and fights do not settle anything and only shows ppls true self. Never understood FHSAA hand shaking policy and I believe it needs to stop this is when most break out. Just let it combo and let the Coaches shake hands.

Tell Pinko don’t gig Hardee too much they tried to hit his magic number but the Refs would not allow it!!!! When Refs practice their happy flag throwing teams can’t do their thing, mainly when they throw flags for blocks in the back that never happened or in areas there was no players around!!!! If it’s not a district game and both teams agree FHSAA doesn’t have a say so because contracts are between schools not FHSAA.

Just curious how many fights does this make in the past few years for Kathleen? I could’ve wrong but wasn’t there an issues last year or the year before? Discipline issues could get a HC and his staff fired but the way these kids think currently thanks to technology I think we will see more and more of incidents like this unless schools start stepping up!!!

They are still an elite program.....Well that is an elite cheerleading program!!! They have fallen this far!!! Use to be one of the constant 5A/old 3A playoff teams and now they're studs compete for cheerleading!!!!

You forget there are still high schools in a county where that high school is the only high school and they are on the bottom of 5A population bracket. They don’t get the luxury of transfersike others in the same classification!!! You cannot just shove them to the side and expect to feed into others. With the current transfer policies and laws many 5A schools have talent at the 4A and below because the larger schools are in fact pulling from them. Where is the fair play in all of this? None. Do nothing t get me wrong I understand why the school choice law was created because private school recruit because they are allowed to due to a loophole. It’s not about bucking up. When a school has the luxury to get 6’4” WRs every year while the rural schools don’t where is the fairness? You are saying that small colleges like Southeastern University football needs to buck up and be forced to play Florida Gators!!!!!! I call it BS!!!! Because a county has 30k ppl doesn’t mean crap. Lakeland has what 500k or more but they only have what 3 high schools!!! Look at Tampa they have a few million ppl. What you are not getting is even though there are 30k counties they don’t have the luxury to get the players in each year like other schools in the larger cities. It usually takes 10 years to get a good group of players!!! That’s a fact!!

So I’m curious I have a “hunch” all this is going to lead 5A-7A combing into a 32 team class then so on. Is this true on the “hunch” I’m seeing here? If so I pray many schools break away from FHSAA and start their own leagues because if they believe for one sec a small rural 5A school can compete with larger 7A schools they are very blinded to the word fair playing field!!!!

I wouldn't eat your cookies too soon. Players can get injured and that can end a season just like that...
