...PKs OL played better then they did to start last season. They have a good QB (JR), who had about 250 yards and 3 TDs, and playmakers at RB and WR. Defense struggled at times, which is expected, because they lost 7 starters who are playing some form of college football (D1, JUCO, FCS).

I have to admit that Pahokee made a lot of mistakes in that game that allowed my Celtics to build up a 30-7 halftime lead. Also, Let's face it the Celtics were good enough to take advantage of those mistakes. Remember Pahokee was a powerhouse that had won a few championships and most of them with ease. It was the Celtics first time in the finals. We got cocky I believe and thought the game was won. Robert love had other plans. Pahokee scored 3 TDs and a touch back to tie the score in the 2nd half mostly through the effort of QB Love. Late in the 4th quarter the Celtic's RB Rudell Small ripped off a 65 yard run right up the middle to put the Celtics up 37-30 which is how the game ended. The Celtics defeated one of the best teams in Florida and one of the best teams of all time. Quite an accomplishment.

I don't fault MC for not defeating MIami-Dade powers because they haven't played them.  That said, MC has lost to a number of Broward schools over the years.   Columbia has gotten the best of MC 2 of the last 3 times.  Please list the legit Top 25 FL schools MC has beaten in the last 5 years. 

Madison has been talked about over and over. They are a traditionally great program that is always in the hunt but most times fall short when they face someone with superior or equal talent. I believe they have 2 state titles when playing in the class they have the allotted kids for. I believe 98, 07 I might be wrong, Then they have won several when moving down into 1A where those teams just can’t compete. Coe is a good coach great motivator and does a good job there but I’m not sure him many people believe they are out X and O people. The fact that a good Pahokee team, nothing special had Madison beat this year and it took a miracle  comeback should answer the question you’ve asked. 

The reason why we don't pull populations for the county is that schools can be differing sizes within a county? Again, nobody denies how great Madison County. Most coaches and fans respect that Madison has an anytime, anywhere attitude regarding playing football. They have a problem that Madison County created a charter school to lower their population for athletic gain. Yes, any student that plays sports at Madison County counts towards the numbers, but what they essentially did is remove nearly 200 students from Madison County High School's roll sheet in order to lower their population below 600. It strikes people as dishonest and loopholing a system. 
 

I have and the clock person at the Pahokee vs Madison game was not a Ref. He wore a Madison hat.

It looks like Pahokee has a legitimate complaint from viewing that video.

Beautiful assessment! I respectfully disagree. I think the holding actually started as soon as the WR caught the the ball. The WR continued to hold the DB until the ball carrier was 3 to 4 yards in front of him. (Ironically, the referee was right there)  
Out of all the defenders, #17 was in the best position to either make the tackle or at least..slow the receiver down.
I am a Pahokee fan but I've worked in Madison (I have love for both), and a Madison fan actually sent me this video.
I wouldn't take anything away from either team. It was a great game between two really good football teams.
I'm sure they will both meet again in the future..

No it won't Madison 52-0 blunts town. 

Just being straight with you, when I watched the clip (from both angles), what I saw was pretty standard, common-place WR on DB blocking.  Yes, it looks like the WR grabbed the DB's jersey (or sleeves) towards the end of the block, but by the time I saw this, the RB was 3-4 yards past the WR/DB.  I could see where a referee watching the play in real time might conclude, in the split second he has to make or not make the call, that the holding part of the block didn't affect the play, as it was behind the play.  I'm not saying that's the right answer, but I could see how that answer could be justified. 
What made that play successful, in my opinion, was the timing.  The QB got the ball of just in time and Madison's released the two big O-linemen who were then able to attack the smaller DB's out in space and in front of the player who caught the pass. 
I have no comment on any other calls or no-calls, but as a guy with no dog in the fight, I wouldn't be pointing to a non-call on that one play as the reason why one team won or lost that game.   Like I said, just trying to keep it real.  If you're a PK fan, you can and should be proud of the season they had and the game they gave MC.

If that is the case then I was mistaken. Kind of hard to know who is who on this forum unless they identify themselves as to which team they support. I apologize to Pahokee folks for this misunderstanding. And, if he is a Madison player or fan he doesn't need to be calling an opponent names. I'm quite sure that he does not reflect the opinions of most of the Madison supporters as, with their level of ability, they never need to deride any other team.

Pahokee athletically can hang with Madison, the question is can Pahokee coaching hang with Madison and can Pahokee survive a very long hike up to big bend area
