There are 2 public schools in Hendry county.  Clewiston is one, class 4a and Labelle is the other,  class 5a.

Clewiston is an apples to apples comparison to Madison. There is only 1 public high school in the county (Hendry and Madison). They both have a charter school that doesn’t offer sports, so their kids compete for the public school. The difference is that Clewiston is 4A and Madison is 1A, but I think Madison is a bigger city. 
Can’t wait until Friday, because it’s not gonna be what people think.

Most everyone knows the deal with Madison County. They opened a charter school and now they qualify for 1A. They are really making a team up from 800 students but because of a loop hole they only count 600. They didn’t make the rule but they are benefiting from it. What was a once in a lifetime team from Hawthorne last year was denied winning a title when in reality they probably deserved it. As long as you don’t have to count the charter school number Madison should win championships. Everyone magically comes in just under the 600 number in 1A that is close. You never see any rural teams that have 611 or 616.  Take nothing away from Madison they are a great program and football team but if they were in 4A where they belong it would be a much better fit. Congratulations to Madison on another title!! 

Pahokee would have about 15 championships if we had been playing in 1A in the 90s. 
But we don't DUCK competition...Line it up!

First of all, Madison should be competeing in 3A, where they used to be.
If you're looking for the old Pahokee team that will drop 45 points by halftime...this is not that team. But, they are extremely athletic, defensively sound, and will easily play to the level of thier competition.
I expect Madison to win.. but don't expect a "cakewalk".
Just ask the University School, Chaminade, Dillard, and Deerfield Beach.

..First rule of 1A football, is to not talk about MC being in the wrong classification.

Madison shouldn't even be in 1A. They (Madison County) know it too.

Corbin only scored twice (1 and 51 yard run), they scored on a flea flicker and a pick 6. I’m just giving the kid his due.

Are you really gonna brag about beating up the little 1A schools everybody knows how Madison County gets around the number of kids in the school.

So. That means they haven’t reached joke status yet?
 
Nothing against MC, but they’ve played GC and Immokolee in finals, is bigger than Pahokee and Belle Glade combined, but are a 1A school. That’s like putting Dillard in 3A and people thumping their chest because they’re winning.
PK hasn’t been championship caliber the last two seasons, so I’m just calling a spade a spade  

In the past whether through film or game broadcasts or a few in person
 
Trenton, Fort White, Pahokee, Baker, Blountstown, Vernon and Madison
 
I also have looked at the roster of several others, it's not hard to tell that overall Madison depth is beyond that of a normal 1a school, even the ones with similar numbers don't have same level of depth

Gotta love chains! I sent this to a die hard UCF fan last year after their loss to LSU. It shows how using the “chains” you can create a winning scenario and rarely lose an argument as long as both teams have at least one loss. 
This proves that using chains to find better teams, non scholarship Division 3 Alfred State Pioneers who won 1 game in 2018, could have beaten last year’s UCF squad.

MC fans wont admit this

Madison really isn't really a 1A school. If they can get kids from another local pool (school), then the FHSAA should add that schools population into the mix.
Madison isn't really creative with their schedule either. With the exception of Columbia, they pick their opponents much like Floyd Mayweather did. 
Pahokee may make the playoffs, but Madison would put a running clock (by halftime) on this years Pahokee team.

Should be a good one! Madison is always tough in Boot Hill.
Madison is not a legitimate 1A school though. They have another local high school that they can pull kids from.
But the FHSAA let's them do it, so I don't blame them.

Pahokee's offense committed 7 turnovers!!!! Like I said before, we are not doing a good job of playing to our strength!!!

I'm not blaming the injuries. US was a good team and they should've won. PK probably had more talent on the field, but they've shown so poorly these first 2 games.
PK should've had a better showing then what they did. This is the second game (KOC) where they looked unorganized and disinterested. 

Between 30 and 40. We had more players dressed than University. Its just the lack of experience and adjusting to this new staff. PK graduated almost 30 seniors from last years team. 

This is the first time I've ever seen Pahokee actually look like a 1A team.
That was not the same Pahokee team I saw play Deerfield Bch in the spring.

They’ve always had that. & of course they will look big vs 1a pahokee let’s see what they do first game of the year vs CC or when the playoffs come.
