Defense looks 100% better, I think the change was needed, especially with these run heavy/option teams we’ll see in the playoffs

Seating is fine unless both teams are undefeated, then it’s standing room. There are usually food vendors at the game. There was Chick-fil-A, frozen icee, barbecue, and others so you could be full before leaving the game

Jr, WR, Hardley Gilmore had 8 catches 150+ yards and 3 TDs and a 60 yard pick 6. Sr, RB, Janoris Wilcher had 200 rushing yards on 19 carries and 3 TDs.
Pahokee played a sloppy game after being off for 2 weeks with over 200 yards in penalties, issue’s substituting, and lining up defensively. Playoffs next week

Pahokee got out muscled tonight and the backup QB got injured, so they had to finish the game with a RB under center. Defense still playing soft, with no pressure so the opposing offense just does what they want.
Pahokee has 2 weeks off to rest/heal up

561, I saw talent and size not being used on that bench for defense!!!! I will not be able to make another game, but damn we need to fix that defense before the playoffs!!!!
The administration usually stays out of athletics, unless there is something that brings negative attention to the school

Never blitzes or switches up coverages and makes the same calls all game. The kids are covering up for the DC

We just have to be ready to stop the run for 4 quarters, because Hawthorne has more interceptions (3) then completions (0) the last 2 games and we can’t turn the ball over (we have 7 the last 2 games).
I think this schedule, especially with the bigger schools, has us prepared for them. It’s just the kids ready for a 4 quarter, fist fight

Pahokee led at the half 6-0, but the defense failed to get any stops in the third (gave up 15 points ), while the offense turned the ball over twice (fumble and int). Starting QB got hurt on the third play and the backup played the rest of the game. They were already without starting RB (J. Wilcher) and top DB (Fertil) from injuries last week. They fought in the fourth and had the ball with 1:30 left but another turnover killed those chances.
The injury bug is creeping in, we have Benjamin next week, then 2 byes (we only have 9 games) before Muck Bowl (Glades Central). Our roster has been equivalent or bigger then every opponent and we don’t have a lot of 2-way players, but we’re getting key injuries.

either way you guys will bounce back. I know how it feels tho when you feel like you had a game or should’ve won a game but it went the other way for reasons that could’ve been avoided or corrected.
Our staff didn’t adjust, especially defensively. Their QB couldn’t throw and we played 10 yards off, giving them easy completions that were 5/6 yards. They have alleged 4 stars, but they didn’t make any plays. It was like the staff had more respect for their players, then their actual ability.

Defensively coaches didn’t adjust at all. Centrals QB couldn’t throw 15 yards and our DBs played 10 yards off all night. Their QB hit those easy/open throws to move the chains.
Offensively, we have to utilize our other WRs and not rely to much on Hardley Gilmore (4 star). And get more creative in the running game, everything can’t be up the middle.
