I understand the concern about Pahokee's offense, but their offensive coordinator just came back full time the week of the Park Vista game. He's the coach of the City of Pahokee track club and they competed during the spring and summer. He had about 6 kids make it to the national championship in Detroit (including his daughter). His daughter was apart of the 8/9 year old 4x100 national championship squad and she won the 8/9 year old 400m championship, and a young lady placed 7th in the shot put. With that being said, I think the offense will progress and this early bye week helps so the OC and offense can get on the same page.

He's clean academically. Last time I spoke with him he was disappointed with how slow his recruiting was going. I understood what he was saying, when you see players with half your production getting power 5 offers.

QB (first year starters) play is gonna affect a lot of teams. Pahokee is replacing a QB (FAU) that threw for almost 3,000 yards, with a kid that played DB all last season. The backups are sophomores that played jv last year.

I thought that at first, but I think he's getting more involved with social activism. His cousin was killed by an off-duty officer when his car broke down in Palm Beach Gardens, so it's a lot more personal.

Quan was the national defensive player of the year that season. He was the #2 offensive player, behind Matt/Chris Simms (I don't remember which one)...That game still hurts the Pahokee community, mainly the offensive game plan. They ran a spread (3 Wrs, 1 TE, and 1 RB), but the coach decided to with 12 personnel, running leads and powers.

Pahokee dominated both lines of scrimmage, and there werent many running lanes to constant pressure in the passer.

Park Vista look like a good/playoff caliber team. I think their starting QB(#2) got hurt, so that limited their run game. The backup (#15) is a better passer and made some good throws. The WR (#1) is legit. He has size and a good route runner...#12 had 2 ints, not bad for a Pahokee kid playing against his home town
