There is no excuse for what happened in the Cocoa-STA game. The Cocoa Tigers won that game in my not-matters and nobody-cares view. I am not familiar with what happened in the Titusville-CCA game. Could you provide some more information, or is there a link or video to view what happened? Thank you.

2hr 22min mark is the play that I'm referring to

With great sorrow I would like to announce I may be stepping away from the game of football as a fan and spectator indefinitely. After witnessing what I just witnessed out of the Miami Hurricanes I can no longer with good conscience support such things. It is taking a toll on my health & mental stability. Thank you all for the laughs ober the years. God bless

    Are you surprised lol

Interesting. How would you feel if Glades Central had an outside chance at the national championship and they lost a game in victory formation against a top 10 team nationally, with no mathematical way for their opponent to win? I’m sure you wouldn’t be upset at all. <_<

Exactly. Cocoa would've most definitely been in the top 25 in the majority of all national polls and top 25 in the composition poll instead of just 2 polls

Sounds like Cocoa was lucky.  I'm sure they wouldn't stand a chance against a private like ST especially if they were playing at Piccolo.

I see what you did there. Cocoa is improved from last season and STA isn't as dominate as they were last season which shows in the difference between this season and last season's games between Cocoa and STA

Any Unsportsmanlike Conduct Foul on a Non-Player or a team's sideline is charged to the Head Coach.

Thanks and figured that. But the one that got him ejected was a claim that he cursed but there's video evidence showing that wasn't the case

Who is making these 'jokes", and what qualifications do these "comedians" have to rate and critique officiating and officials?

Nobody is rating or critiquing the officiating or officials. And as far as those "comedians" they are actually officials themselves and some fans. As far as the "jokes", it's the officiating from the Cocoa-STA game with the officiating organization apologizing for the obvious mistakes made in that game. And the comparison to the CCA-Titusville game where CCA clearly scored with everyone at the game, the broadcast crew and players seeing that their player crossed the goal line on first effort and then the defender pushed the runner backwards and knocking the ball out. That turned to Titusville marching 95 yards down the field and scoring the winning points last second for the win. Even the brevard broadcasting crew stated that CCA player was in the endzone for the final nail in the coffin.

Private school records since 2005 showing that some publics have done just fine against the private powers

    AHP v Central   0-3

    Bolles v BTW   1-4

    Bolles v Cocoa   1-3

    ST v Lakeland   1-4

    CG v Glades Central   0-6

    TC v Cocoa   0-2

The first year Bolles and Cocoa played in the regular season they were both ranked number 1 in their respective classes 2A and 2B and they both won State titles that season as well. Helping Ray's case. Also the Seasons Cocoa beat TC one season it was a close game last minute score. And again they both were at or near the top of their classes and made deep runs or title runs. Those 2 seasons

I have no idea where Brady came from, just glad we have him. He could well be home grown.

I believe one of our development programs just won nationals. Meaning this next batch of players will be just as good in a few more years as this team is.

You know the old saying "the Richer just get richer".

    https://247sports.com/player/brady-hart-46141204/

Brady came from Melbourne, Blake Boda from Daytona Seabreeze and Davin Wydner from Holy Trinity. So past 3 years were out of school zone. DJ Arroyo beforehand moved from Vero after his freshman year. So he moved into the school zone. Before DJ it was Bruce Judson who was home grown

Refs are like cops. It's a fraternity, mess with one, mess with em all. Looking back at STA refs... I'm wondering if there are some lingering effects? Should that be the case then the Refs are also messing with kids future's. That is not cool...

I agree. Also another reason why there are jokes going around about the refs making things even for Brevard with Broward with the Titusville win over Calvery Christian

Hopefully Cocoa can appeal and win it, and he'll be back against Titusville.  But we know how that will probably go. Did you notice that there wasn't another flag of any kind thrown after Coach S was ejected?

Yup and that was his first flag of the night when they ejected him. Second play of the game they got a side warning and they just kept coming.

Cocoa's coach was also ejected in the 3rd Q, so that may have also helped rally the Tigers.

Weird thing about that ejection. It wasn't an unsportsmanlike penalty that got him ejected. According to the report I read it was for the accumulation of multiple sideline warnings/unsportsmanlike penalties. So now he'll be suspended for next week's district championship pretty much.

After watching them play us, I believe Rockledge also has trouble sustaining offense vs good defense.  They hardly moved the ball on us all game until the final game winning drive.  That was aided by 2 penalties of the 15-yard variety and a great or lucky play (depending on who you were rooting for) by the QB to avoid a sack and convert a crucial 4th down near the redzone to keep the drive alive.  Against good defensive teams I think they will struggle.  Their annual rivalry at years end vs Cocoa won't be close.  Just advising as a friend to not catch the same ailment apparently Darter has for APK.:D

You're definitely right about their offense is pretty much non-existent this season. They had a QB change last week due to the starter being "hurt" lol yet they had him playing DB. Had him start this week and nothing changed lol. They do better against in county teams. Brevard as a whole is bad offensively besides a few teams. The Merritt Island vs Eau Gallie game was just like the Rock vs TCA game with a score of 12 EG 11 MI on a last second big run for a score. If Rockledge doesn't win their district this season they won't make the playoffs. There's a couple games this I'm gonna have to ponder on for the pick ems lol
