  1. Those spring games happened while Coach Wilks was coaching Cocoa, they played Dr.P 2 springs in a row and played Northwestern the spring after they played Central in the regular season if I remember correctly. To me it seemed like they only played spring games when it was against high competition. They also played oxbridge when they bad travis homer.
  2. Looks like Cocoa has Vero Beach scheduled for week 1 of the season. So we will find out early on how they stack up against tough competition.
  3. I see Viera being on the same level they were on this past season. They didn't have the fire power they had in seasons past but a lot of players did step out of the shadows that were supporting players to the stars that left.
  4. Champagnat Catholic (10-2) CLASS 3A Chaminade-Madonna (8-1) THURSDAY CLASS 4A Cardinal Gibbons (7-1) CLASS 1A Baker (14-0) FRIDAY CLASS 6A Miami Central (7-1) CLASS 5A American Heritage (Plantation) (10-2) SATURDAYCLASS 8A Seminole (Sanford) (11-0) CLASS 7A Edgewater
  5. Viera will be ok as long as they keep developing players. As far as Bryce goes Rockledge coaches dropped the ball with the way they used him. They should've split snaps and used a number of packages with both him and Elias in that would've opened up a number of options. Including using them on double passes, multiple option plays, trick plays and used both of their athleticism
  6. Seminole (Sanford) Miami Palmetto (6-1) Edgewater (7-2) St. Thomas Aquinas (6-1) Lake Minneola (10-1) Miami Central (6-1) Rickards (8-1) American Heritage (Plantation) (9-2)
  7. In Brevard the talent wouldn't be distributed evenly. It would definitely be about the same. Cocoa, Rockledge, most likely Bayside, Viera or Eau Gallie
  8. Gibbons lived in Cocoa's backfield all game. Really a taste of their own medicine. They got humbled that night. Crazy thing is after watching the highlights from allamericanfilms on YouTube it seemed like Gibbons went in with a chip on their shoulder because of alot of talk coming from Cocoa. Which doesn't surprise me since Schneider was a coach a STA and USchool so he has some history with Gibbons.
  9. Yea I was seeing about 14 at the end of the season
  10. Yes he's still at Merritt Island. Them playing down in Brevard D2 boosted their confidence til they lost to Satellite but the fact that they were in a dogfight with Holy Trinity foreshadowed everything.
  11. By the way Cocoa didn't play Melbourne due to the game being cancelled and not rescheduled. That's why the Cocoa vs Satellite game ended up happening
  12. Eau Gallie benefitted slightly from the transfers and players they already had. But again that Brevard schedule and Covid didn't help. Their game against Rockledge was cancelled as well
  13. Palm Bay actually has a few rated players including one of the top underclassmen D-Linemen in the state. To me their downfall is their coaching. They're HC was OC at MCC and he brought over a bunch of those guys and players and it shows.
  14. Technically Cocoa and Rockledge pulls from Space Coast lmao. But all jokes aside Space Coast jr/Sr high is in port st john which is a municipality of Cocoa. But honestly whenever players transfer in others transfer out so they won't have to compete for their spot. Using this season for example.....Cocoa and Rockledge got transfers and they had players transfer out to Palm Bay, Holy Trinity, Viera and Eau Gallie. Bayside had players transfer out to Melbourne. Heritage had players transfer to Palm Bay.
  15. In Brevard Viera is the newest school which opened my sophomore year in 06 which pulls from Rockledge, Eau Gallie and Melbourne. Heritage pulls from Bayside and Palm Bay Bayside pulls from Palm Bay And when Space Coast became a junior/senior high they pulled from Cocoa and Titusville. Honestly if Space Coast didn't add 9-12 then Cocoa and Titusville would've had some great quaterbacks
  16. The only reason Merritt Island was undefeated is because they were playing in division 2 of brevard which were space coast, Titusville, Astronaut, Holy Trinity, MCC, Satellite and Cocoa Beach. Eau Gallie and Satellite are around the same with Eau Gallie having more athletes and Satellite being more disciplined
  17. It depends on who Palmetto plays honestly and I feel like Edgewater will have a great chance at defeating STA.
  18. The powers of Brevard use to be Merritt Island, Palm Bay, Rockledge and Cocoa. With other teams being steady like Astronaut, Melbourne, Bayside having some good seasons. Melbourne was also good as well.
