By the way Coach Beek, congrats on your win last night vs Lake Buena Vista.  From the scoring, it appears it was an exciting game for the fans.  

Their fans sportsmanship carried over to a Girl's volleyball game I attended a couple of weeks back.  They won the district the last couple of years and didn't take kindly to the OHS girls (23-4) dominating them both times this year on our way to a district championship.  They almost caused a riot in our gym threatening to get into a fight with some of our students.  Pitiful display by the parents and I also don't care if I offend someone from their school reading this as it is factual.   Their football team that they are so high on is heading for a demolition next week at our place and hopefully it will shut them up. 

I am not the one to say a lot when it comes to other teams. Especially when they are in our county. But the circumstances of our JV game Thursday and what happened tonight bring a few things to light. We played TOHO on jv Thursday night. I do not care what anyone from that school says in rebuttal to what I am going to say! Their show of sportsmanship is the absolute worst I have ever seen. They sent numerous players to the jv game who are varsity starters and backups. Dont lie about it! 
Their whole intention was to win a JV game at all costs. TOHO shows up with 60+ ish players for a JV game, A lot of those players are wearing Varsity helmets (it is obvious to see which is which) We are playing JV with JV players. We chose to sit most of our 6 quarter kids as well because winning on Friday is what it is all about. Isn't it?
The long and short of it is this. We are loosing the game in the second half. With a running clock. TOHO continues to throw the deep passes with their 6'2 JV receivers! and a varsity caliber QB. (my own speculation, only on jv because of their freshman phenom on varsity. Kids say he was the varsity starter last year) over our 5'2" freshmen corners. They run up the score to 60-14 in a JV game with a running clock since it was 35-0 or maybe 42-7 in the early 3rd 1/4. with less than 2 minutes to go their coach said " put the varsity players back in". He started to and was going to run a 2 minute drill against a JV team down by 46. He had every intention on scoring again!   Graciously the officials did not let that happen. They ran the clock out trying to get the ball set!
During the handshake after the game. My JV coach said to the Head coach. " We understand that on varsity you do what you have to do. But this is JV, developmental football. We have no issue with you doing everything you can in the first half. But when the game goes to a running clock. A little respect is expected. After all this is JV." the response was! Your kids are just soft and shouldn't even be playing JV, if you dont like it then stop us!"
We could have sent down 10 players if we really wanted to win a jv game. But how does that develop the younger kids moving forward. So you know my opinion of the coaching staff of toho jv anyway!
I wonder if playing kids 2 full games in 2 days make a difference? 6 quarters? Who tracks that?

I knew Harmony would win but didn't know they were gonna put it on them like that lol. Yea their coach didn't do them no favors at all and running around social media boasting. Yea we get your QB is good but no need to try to bash a player ranking list that doesn't have your freshman QB on a list that's meant for seniors only. On top of that he's gotten lucky his QB is still healthy after leaving him in 4 full quarters to pad stats against lower competition when the game is already out of reach.

Definitely took me by surprise when they brought it up on the BSN post game wrap up show

People who thought Columbus would just lie down and die losing 35-7 really don't know Columbus ball. Explorers proved themselves in a big way tonight. Congrats on keeping the score respectable with possibly the best team in the nation. The Explorers will find brighter days ahead.

Can't be upset with this loss. Wasn't expecting anything close to that. Classic game. Explorers made some adjustments in the locker room and played some inspired ball. Central looked flat for the entire third. I was surprised to see that reaction. Then again, I was surprised to see how well Columbus fought till the very end. They believed they could win even after being down 28 at the half.
Congrats to the coaches and the kids. Looking forward to these boys finishing off the year with a state title.

Should’ve been a bigger margin of victory, but Pahokee has played down to their opponents the last few games. Hats off to the Charlotte team, they fought hard the entire game. 
 
Offensively, PKs passing game led the scoring, with all 4 tds. The running game was somewhat held in check, but Charlotte just played Richard Young and Lehigh (14-19 loss) so they were up to the test against the run. Was a dominating defensive performance, Charlotte’s only TD came off a kickoff return.

They defense only gave 20 points in each of those games, while im still not too sure on they defense iknow they have young guys who show up when the lights on.

Toho HC has done them no favors, getting them to play an extremely soft schedule just to pad the stats of their freshman QB to make him look like a world beater.  They got their hat handed to them tonight by Harmony 40-7.

Osceola defense played lights out against an extremely talented Mainland offense shutting down the run and making them one-dimensional.  They have an excellent dual threat QB that can make plays with his arm and his legs so we knew that would be the challenge going into this game.  Unfortunately, his receiving group didn't help him much dropping several short passes that could have moved the chains some but they just couldn't move the ball consistently.  Penalties hurt them as well as a couple of back breaking turnovers.   We were pretty efficient early running and throwing the ball against their defense.  Our QB got a little sloppy/careless late with some ill advised throws that resulted in INT's.   He definitely needs to raise his level of play for us to make a deep run in the playoffs.  Should make short work of Toho HS next week to wrap up the district championship before closing our season out against West Orange.

Columbus secondary can't hang. Rockets QB picked us apart. Held the run game down with the front line, but we have a short secondary that got burnt on at least three plays. Hats off to Central. Only team beating them in the state MIGHT be Chaminade.

They ain’t the only team getting better but dawg , I know all dade all day lol but we lined up & went toe to toe with them people at tropical last season & will do it again. 
 
but since they lost to south ridge only way we meet homestead is if they beat STA in the second round. 

Yessir. But the Qb don’t play defense and they knew he would be out because he was out the week before in a lost. So the back up had a full 2 weeks of reps with the first string. Injuries is apart of the game and it’s always next man up. 
 
Vs sta our number 1 corner Antione Jackson couldn’t even play because of a sprained ankle that he tried to play on Vs central and made it even worst. 
 
we also had 4 starting d line man out & one of our top receivers but you not gonna hear bout that in the media all the people gonna focus on is Dillard lost the game. 

I said this early in the season and was called a clueless moron

Or people need to stop hyping the west. I get their past & their pedigree but it’s CLEAR they’re not what they use to be. 
 
yes they’ve had injuries but what team doesn’t this time of year ? Even with their goat Qb back & their veteran OC they end up looking worse then they did in their return. Tyga was the cause of 6 of the 9 bulls turnovers completely unacceptable & all of them were unforced. 
 
credit to homestead they took advantage as any decent to elite team should. But at 4-4 & after this type of performance with their entire arsenal back it’s time to look at the west for what they’re this year & not the past. 

Funny because when I ranked them #11 in preseason people thought I didn't know what I was talking about and "you don't know Dade" they told me

It aint too many ppl hyping the west. they already done shown they colors this year, i think what it is, is knowing what they capable of with the right coaching. They have the personnel, its like wen coach ej left last season as the oc the offense collapsed. idk who they new oc is but he is not putting they playmakers in good positions. 

Crazy season. I can't believe Southridge took them to the woodshed last week. The ridge is aweful this year. And then this. Crazy daisy chain arguments happening own south here.

St. Cloud has virtually no chance of being a playoff team after getting beaten badly by both Toho and OHS two district opponents.  Those two teams will play each other in the next week with the winner being the district champ and the other the runner up.  The district is pretty weak so no assurance of the runner up getting in much less the third place finisher.  Highly likely you will get them in the bowl game if that is what both schools want.
