No I want to separate privates because they can't have rules and this cancer has spread to publics. I am not ignoring anything. Publics recruit all the time. Recruiting does not even equate to winning. It does lead to a disconnect to community, to empty stadiums, to teams dropping sub varsity teams. So no I don't want to ignore the publics recruiting. I want to address all of the issues. 

I think the power rankings don't represent what actually happened on the field, so any predictive value would be based on chance. 

Armwood goes to Vanguard. Vanguard is the 1 seed in the north. Armwood will have to travel to Vanguard this week and would have to go to Navarre if that ended up being the semi. Crestview can not have a home game no matter what happens.

Nick Brahms has started most of the year for Auburn. He is a red shirt Freshmen from Navarre.

Look the points for beating a 8a in my system are not bonus points it is a value assigned to beating a 8a school. Which is harder than beating a 1a school.  The points for your opponent's wins are bonus points for playing successful teams. If you beat a 1a school with 9 wins you get 18 points no matter who you are.  If you beat a 0 win 1a school it is worth 9 points. My system rewards winning against teams that win primarily and also recognizes winning against higher classifications is harder on average. If your wins are against terrible big schools you are not going to come out ahead. You will need your opponents to win and most importantly you will need to win. While still recognizing a loss to a tough opponent.

It was suppose to prevent terrible teams from getting in over excellent teams from a loaded district and to fairly seed the bracket. I think it sucks at both. It is funny that a lot of the folks that wanted it don't want it to actually reflect what happens on the field. If you would have beaten Tca that win should have more value than your win against MC. That simply represents what actually happened on the field.

Are you as clueless as you come off? Pohokee cheated it is a fact. The penalty is what they paid. Please stop acting like we should all turn a blind eye. It is a disgrace. No they did not beat anyone this year. It is insult to the teams that did it right to say otherwise.
 
The changes recently to the rules are a huge step in the wrong direction and unless they are fixed the blowback will be huge. You not understanding this is funny because it makes you guys winning it all very unlikely.
