Whether one agrees with the rules or not, they are intended to protect the kids and every one of us has the responsibility to report infractions.  
Coach Jones says on his twitter "nothing personal, just business."  If he lives by that mantra, hopefully he doesn't take it personally that someone reported him for not fulfilling his duties as a coach...to know and uphold the rules.      
If I was the principal, I would be questioning  why nobody on the coaching staff was aware of the infraction or felt comfortable challenging the hc.  The whole staff is culpable.  Not picking on Chaminade...would say the same for any team.
 
    

He shouldn't be able to cop out by serving the suspension during a kickoff classic. That should be during a regular season game

A couple things:
Whether intentional or not, the title of this thread is a bit misleading. It's $500 million for 144 different indoor facilities in Texas. It's still a lot, but someone may think that it's $500 million for one facility if they don't read the story.
Indoor facilities are newer for schools in other parts of the country, but in Texas, the indoor facilities started awhile back. As far as I know, no other schools in Florida have indoor facilities. I could be wrong though.

As someone who has run social media and coached on high school teams, I have a simple rule when it comes to interaction: I only tweet, or RT, or anything like that, something that has to do with football. So if a kid tweets out that he got offered, or how he did at a camp, or some award he won, then I'll interact. Otherwise, no dice. So I would have never liked or RTed what Peacock did about the Braden River coach. Peacock is making himself sound like a victim and a martyr at the same time. Idk if that actually is the case but it just doesn't seem right to me.

You're going to be the one crying if/when this thread gets locked, but I have to ask: do you know for a fact that right now, today, STA is avoiding those other schools or that those other schools are avoiding STA? Or are you simply reciting things that happened years ago?

In the states where the public schools rule, the biggest thing is that there is a real structure to the publics and privates. In Texas, I think there are two private schools in the UIL. Meanwhile there are 2-3 other federations for private/parochial/independent schools. 
Florida on the other hand has the privates and publics running together. Combine that with the lax recruiting rules and this is what is bound to happen.
As far as Broward publics, Deerfield should be carrying the county with all the talent they get on a yearly basis. The fact that they haven't won state or even gotten to the title game in awhile is a crying shame.
Miramar, Plantation, and Western will be good and carry the county publics for this year and maybe for the next few years. We'll see if any of the schools stay consistent for awhile.

I agree with this but I think it goes by counties.. Dade public’s runs it. Broward privates runs it. 

It's interesting, I was just thinking about privates vs publics in various states. I feel like the states that the elite schools are mostly public are Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Arizona. I'm sure I'm missing a few. Florida to me seems closer to 50/50.

Per FootballScoop and @DILLARD_HIGH_PANTHERS should be interested: Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, FL): Per source, Chris Rinni has accepted the offensive coordinator / QBs coach position. Rinni served as the Pass Game Coordinator and QB Coach at Lane College for the previous 3 seasons.

Lakeland/Apopka should be a real good one.

I think South Dade may end up not being that good. They already lost the QB to Booker T Washington. Now they lost one of their best defensive players to Southridge. I hear more transfers could be in the making out of South Dade.
Everyone else I think is on point on this list.

Daniels reclassified to class of 2018, and he did early enroll at USC. But don't feel too bad for Mater Dei, they went out and picked up a pretty good QB (Bryce Young, a 2020 dual threat from Cathedral).

As a coach, going through an offseason where you lose your starting QB, RB, a WR and your best defensive player and none of it was to graduation? That's enough to have me look at coaching jobs somewhere else in the state or in a totally different state lol
