He did go into cardiac arrest on the field I believe it was the week of the Rockledge game. Nice young man (offensive line coach). The other coaches went right into action and was able to perform CPR and use the AED until paramedics arrived. I am glad to say that he is alive and back on the field. Turns out it might be hereditary and something he will have to keep a close eye on. But thank the Lord he is back and good. (Good thing he wasn't there for that theft at Rockledge!!!)

Rockledge win over Cocoa was a theft by one Rockledge HOMER ref that threw 18 flags. I would not consider that a win. There should be a huge asterisk by that game.

Vieia looses quite a bit of talent but their JV team was pretty impressive. That will take time to mature though on the varsity level. Do not see anyone leapfrogging Cocoa. Cocoa brings alot of talent back along with strong JV players also add in the transfers.

It's hard to understand until you watch your team go through it. I even heard the Rockledge game had an unusual amount of flags thrown in it. Like one poster said "its the playoffs", with a little more intensity. A good game is when you don't hardly recognize there are zebras on the field, unfortunately these fellas are more often than not full of themselves and want to be seen. Its a shame that they take away from the game and all the hard work these young men put into their craft. I know that in the Cocoa/Rock game the one Ref that threw the majority of the flags that night was a Rockledge resident. There's just no way to take bias out of the game especially when you use hometown HOMERS but In these cases Viera and Rockledge, played home. Does the FHSAA bring in outside Refs for the playoffs?

So LemmyKilmisterRIP2015 was at the game and he didn't find the outrageous amount of flags unusual? Get real your not a football fan your just another Rockledge homer. That was absolutely a shame I'm surprised that Coach Wilk didnt have the game under protest, it was that bad. Then after a little research, I find out that the line judge is a Rockledge resident and his kids went to Rockledge. Let me tell you this, anybody that saw the game that was neutral to both sides would of questioned the calls. Now I know there's nothing Cocoa can do but finish the season by winning State. I just think it' so unfair for these kids to put so much hard work and time into their craft for a bias official to cost them what they worked so hard for. Play that game 10 times with neutral officials or at least not a Rockledge Homer official and Cocoa wins 10 times, hands down! Call it crying! I am crying! Cocoa was ROBBED! I will never let this one die until it is rectified. Hopefully by using non Rockledge residents! That Rockledge win should come with an asterisk by it signed by the Rockledge twelfth man the Rockledge official!

By the way Cocoa has played in a lot of different cities through out the years and I swear they have never had as many Homer calls as they did last night. I would love to see the HUDL film on it. Only thing worse than the .... that happened on the field last night is if my CANES take one like it.

Ok I have to eat a little crow Rockledge came to play. The duo of Corbin and Tennison was definitely was a difference maker along with the side line Ref on Rockledge side (must of thrown his flag 11-15 times). I have never seen anything like it. I guarantee you anyone that does any research, that gentleman is a Rockledge Homer or Cocoa hater. It was pathetic!!!! Maybe 2 calls against Rockledge cant count Cocoa's(always while they start taking control). I have been following Cocoa for years and a Coach Wilkerson team is one that is built to limit penalties and play clean. I was there last night and it was just horrendous. I guarantee that film will be reviewed by FHSAA! Cocoa was definitely in a dog fight but clearly looked like the more dominant team you cant play a good team with their twelfth man as an official. Take away those stupid calls, Cocoa wins handily! The pennalties always came when Cocoa had momentum and driving the ball down Rockledge's throat! The more I type the more I want to spit nails!!

So basically your saying Rockledge would perform as well with Cocoa's schedule? I think you might be drinking the cool-aid. Friday cant get here soon enough. Cocoa has been a read option offense the past 4yrs. Don't you think that their defense is used to seeing it day in day out with supreme athletes running it? What makes Corbin so special especially the fact that he was thrown into that role 3-4 weeks ago? Hopefully Coach Younger dials in some trick plays that they can score on. I think Cocoa's defense will be stuffing the line of scrimmage and flying to the ball.

That was last weeks poll they should move up because St. Edwards lost this week.

Are you serious? Lets look at this Trinity Christian(is the Rock better?) NO!, Viera(is the Rock better?) already been answered. Mainland(is the Rock better?) NO!, Bartram Trail(is the Rock better?) NO! Last, Pahokee(is the Rock better?) NO! Talking all this nonsense about Cocoa fans cant possibly think that they are going to ride shot gun over them. Why wouldn't they think that. Who has Rockledge played that was worth a darn? Best competition Rockledge has played they have lost to. They haven't played a team as complete as Cocoa! Prediction: Cocoa 45 Rockledge 7 (running clock start of the 4th quarter)

Believe this. Palm Bay is no Cocoa! What will Rockledge do any differently than they did at Viera or Osceola? I see Cocoa being a better team than both of them and your getting them at the end of their season prepping for playoffs (SCARY). So Cocoa goes into that game like it's a playoff game, best know Coach Wilk has them hitting on all cylinders! just ask the Cocoa transfers that went over to the Rock they know what's coming their way (Work Ethic, Preparation & Focus).

Cocoa has nothing to prove, they have been in these games time and time again on a much bigger scale. Cocoa will play within themselves with a stingy defense and allow Coach Wilkerson to figure out what works best on the offense. I look forward to seeing Rockledge come out with their new players especially in the hype of the game but this is Cocoa and they will get Rock frustrated. Cocoa takes the game over in the 2nd half to win by 24.
