Thank you Nulli Secundus. I plan on viewing the game, and I am looking forward to that when I have time.

No, that was the one game in Ft. Lauderdale that I have not had a chance to watch yet, because I had to work. I do plan on viewing the game when I get a chance to sit down with enough time for that. I am not going to defend all of the officiating in some of the state title games.

Happy New Year, and a great Resolution for many people should be to treat officials the way that the mascot treated the Referee in the Cheez-It Bowl Game. A great pat on the back, and a thumps-up go a long way. Many others can learn from this example.

You missed a great bowl game, Perspective. -
Close games and great attendance. The FHSAA might be on to something here. My valid point is confirmed again.

Another reason why the Metro and Suburban Classifications worked and were successful. No, I don't not get tired of being right all the time.

No thank you, Perspective. I already know about the true story that inspired the film, so I don't need to see the Hollywood version. Also, it is Jambun not Janbum. -

I never saw that movie, but I do know the true story that inspired it. The Unsolved David Cox murder case. -

You would find something wrong in any Classification. -

Perspective, thank you for the nice, long-winded, legalese, response. However, next time a simple "Yes Jambun82, you were right as you usually are, and I am starting to wonder if you might be a Genius" will be more than sufficient. -

Ray, are you finally ready to admit that I have known what I have been talking about all this time? Of that you always learn from me, and at least 5-10% smarter after reading my posts? When I say these things, it is not just to hear my gums flap, it is because I always am making sense. That is probably why I am know as the sense-maker! -

Yes, you have to wonder if some of these people really enjoy High School Football. -
4S Title Game: Venice vs. Lakeland (Saturday 12/17 1:00)
Jambun82 replied to Perspective's topic in The Huddle
I can't tell from that video if that was a TD or not. Hopefully, I can watch the game later in the week. -

Of course the same teams made the Title Games, those are the best teams. Would you prefer mediocre teams to play for a State Championship? The regular season will remain the same because the districts are, for the most part, the same as they have always been. People like you are never satisfied, and just like to complain for complaining's sake. -

I was right about the Suburban and Metro Classifications working out and being successful, wasn't I Perspective? -

Yes, I was not able to view the Lakeland vs Venice game because I had to work. I am hoping to watch the game within a week or so, if Spectrum Sports still has the videos on their website. -

Is Venice known for chasing officials down after every play arguing for fouls? -
4M Title game: Apopka vs Columbus (Sat. 12/17 at 7:00)
Jambun82 replied to Perspective's topic in The Huddle
Yes, the first instance was good crew-work to discuss whether or not a foul was committed. The officials talked it out, and determined that the contact was in the field of play and no penalty was warranted. The second instance was correct due to an officials timeout because the runner's helmet had come off, and he had to leave the field of play. There was no questionable call on either circumstance. -

What questionable penalties? -
The Suburban and Metro Classifications worked and were successful for the state playoffs this season. These were the most exciting State Title Games that I can remember in many years. All of the amateur, wannabe, FHSAA Administrators who wined and complained about this new system on this message board all season, now need to acknowledge that fact. I hope that this system of classification remains the same for many years to come. Four of the five Ft. Lauderdale games were one-score differences, and most of the Tallahassee games were fairly close as well. That is what High School Football should be about.

One of the three "teams" will perform very well tonight. You can take that to the bank and exchange it for cash!
