I think it’s more cc is the real deal because just last week AHP dismantled a 4a power in US who jus thrashed glades central tonight 35-6

Don’t know if this is the right final I’ve been getting different scores all night but if so congrats btw and good job to Dillard for leaving it all on the field. And not getting intimidated by a big name school and getting blown out by 50

I haven’t done this in months but I will like to talk about in my opinion the must see games this week and my predictions for them feel free to drop your own predictions and state what made u go with that choice and I’m going to do them same.
 
starting with DEMATHA @ ST THOMAS This right here has the means to go either way sta was knocked out the playoffs last year short of the state title and I’m sure they’ve done some scoping on dematha they know what their bringing in and what they lost and would love nothing more to beat a well known school whose had a lot of success vs fl schools recently In dematha to show the raiders are back. 
#PREDICTIONS if this was in Maryland I would have to roll with dematha all day but playing at STA Week 1 I believe STA takes it 14-10 in a defensive ball game. 
CAROL CITY @ AMERICAN HERITAGE Man oh man what I would do to see this game two heavy weights clashing in Broward County the patriots are coming off another state title at 14-0 while Carol city is coming off a second round exit while both teams are expected to make a deep run this year there can only be one winner Friday night I expect a offensive type game.
#PREDICTION I have to roll with the patriots to hold serve at home 31-28
 
DILLARD @ BOOKER T WASHIGTON This game right here has the potential to be the dark horse of the week Dillard silently beat a very talented Jackson team who can make some noise in 5A this year while BTW ended their KOC in a 28 tie with TC last year when these two teams met Dillard came in with out a OC who left the same week and took all his plays with him and Dillard showed the effects of just that getting blitzed in the first half 25-0!! Only to hold BTW scoreless the last two quarters. This year Dillard comes in with a revamped coaching staff starting at head coach in Toriano Morgan and OC from lane college they have the panthers more up temp and more disciplined which I believe will make Dillard a very dangerous football team this year.

MIAMI CENTRAL @ CARDINAL GIBBONS Wow could this game take any longer to be played nothing has to be even said about this game just look at the names. But both teams come in looking to make a respective statement gibbons who finished runner up to rival AHP Again is looking to show the world they can indeed beat a power house team while MC is looking to handle bussiness as usual when they come to Broward I believe this will be a shoot out.

MNW @ MIRAMAR This is another sneaky good game Miramar can make a huge statement by giving the bulls their first lost of the season while the bulls are looking to show 6A that their not so ready to give up the spot as the king of 6A I Believe this game will be gritty and firstly as a lot of these kids know each other..but in the end.,,
#PREDICTION I see MNW running away with it after halftime winning 35-6.

I picked Jackson to make noise. So if Dillard did that to them, they’ve improved and could make some noise themselves

Sooooo I missed my first Dillard football game since 2007!!! Because of my relocation to Texas but it was for the better but it’s still sad tho.
but I had to keep up with my panthers tho I see our qb balled out Dillard went up 14-0 Jackson scored in the 4th to bring it within 6 but Dillard defense held on to win their first kick off classic in over 6 years!!!
and it was over a usually solid Miami Jackson squad with a rich and proud tradition!!! Goooooo PANTHERS!!!! #CODEBLUE looks like the coaching staff have them moving in the right direction a close lost to Miramar 14-7 whose very talented then a win in the KOC against a outer county foe..I see improvements but next week will be a different animal #PAWSUP!!!

What’s going on football fam...so next Tuesday I will be moving to hosuton Texas (super excited) new scenery & opportunity so I would like to know what are some places to check or things to do once I get settled.
and being that I won’t be able to attend any Dillard games for the first time since 07(tears falling) lol what would be some good teams in the Houston area to check out and maybe support or get involved with. 
Im sure I could get a lot of info from people on the national board but ONE I don’t be on there and TWO y’all my fam so help me out. Lol

I'll try getting some insight from the Texas posters over there and see what the best teams to check out in Houston or surrounding areas are worth checking out 

I would have to say to an extent yeah... @Zoe Boy just hear me out is it the only reason ? No not even close but the crowd can and have played a factor in a lot football and basketball games and not just in high school ...college and pro... the band. To especially at Black schools or even white schools to...how I know ?? I’ve seen it as a former player and coach ...you tell me a home crowd of over 3,000+ at a football game or basketball with it being 4th and goal with 1 second left crowd going insane or home team up one away team at the free throw line home crowd shaking the roof off the gymnasium...u mean to tell me that can’t even alter the game ?? It can and it has ...I kno that this is not even the main topic of this thread but since it was brought up I have to say in south Florida the crowd may not be a factor because compared to Texas and other States that’s live and breath football fans down here especially in the hood they don’t give Af ...it can be a crowd of 1000 plus and u can’t even here them half don’t even know when or who scores a td cuz they in their phone on ig or Facebook.

Out of the first 12 or so plays they did the same thing ..”RUN” jus switched sides a compotent coaching staff should be able to easily stop that but nonetheless to me to effectively run that play u need solid solid blocking aka o line and a durable solid running back because it Dosent seem like the qb throw much lol
