I know east st Louis all to well, we traveled up there when I played for Dillard during a weekend classic like we do down here in the Broward vs usa. Historical black school, huge fan base, was a tight game in the first half vs the flyers then things fell apart in the 2nd half. 6 games later tho the flyers ended up having to forfeit theor season have 22 ineligible players. 8 of them were 20 years old! Should be a great game between the two. Im going to go to that one.

Most definitely an upgrade. Our offense while unstoppable vs below avg teams always struggled vs a good defenses under the last OC it was time for a change. There was never any offensive adjustments or creativity. It was all vanilla based

Aye these teams out of state are tired of hearing about how we got the most speed down here, the best athletic talent, the best players, so when they do come down here they probably feel like because of our speed alone any fl team would be favored over a team from out of town lol. (Crazy thinking I know). Anderson a Dillard Graduate was a backup qb on the 2001 Dillard that made it to the state championship. Anderson Also was the OC at Gibbons the last 8 years where he has won 3 state titles and consistently had the chiefs as one of the most profilific offenses in the state. With Anderson at the helm as OC & Jr rosegreen a dillard grad that came back home this season as DC after spending the last 5 years at miami norland as their DC, Dillard is making it known that early playoff exits will NOT be tolerated and that they are a SERIOUS title contender

All those teams you mentioned all had 1 thing in common a HEAVY flux of transfers , when those transfers went else well the program suffered which is why its so important to build a state title contender from the ground up and from within because when you find microwave success from taking from other programs. What's crazy is that west broward has never been looked at or has ever been a solid football program let alone a contender. They've been a doormat for decades. Last uear because of one coach turned west broward to a must transfer school , west Broward received a 80% transfer in take last year wirh most of those same transfers leaving to transfer to a new school this year. It just goes to show how the right amount of transfers can turn any doormat to a contender over night and how losing them same transfers can. Im not sure if youre aware but west broward had a mass transfer exodus after their state appearance last year 30+ of their players left. 15 alone went to carol city to play for previous chaminade OC Toro whose now the head coach at carol city. The rest left for Columbus

Heavy neither of these are from Broward. But in Columbus defense they have completely revamped their football program starting with hiring former miami central head coach, coach Jube and allowing him to build his staff. So far Columbus have received over 30 transfers from across broward and dade including but not limited to the 5* WR A1 who transferred to west broward last year and was one of the main pieces that led the wildcats to their first ever state championship appearance. The exploeres are gonna b loaded this year. How will all of it transfers to the field, only time will tell

Now While I am grateful for the tournament & All The Teams Thats Gonna Get Their Chance To Showcase Their Programs. What im Not A Fan Of is , Today's Reveal was Hyped up The Last Month Plus, Only For 1 Game to Be revealed & We Have to Wait Until Tomorrow For Another Reveal & so on & so Forth. Why Not Just Reveal All The Matchups At Once.

If you know youre not part of the all star teams in ya city getn 20+ transfers in yearly why in God's name would you schedule national ranked teams on your schedule just to say "youre not ducking smoke" but alot of coaches feel like if they dont do that then the narrative is gonna be "Yall haven't played anybody" yall had a cupcake schedule juco schedule

I would love to see a lowndes or valdosta vs sta, img,TFA, & most of all travel. Hell get buford down here vs sta ,Grayson, Ga got some mf power houses but you never see them down here.
