In regards to our schedule. aye lol you can’t break contract. Four of those teams are district games so we got to play them. Ely- that’s soul bowl that game will always be played . Deerfield , Miramar , stranahan & B.A were all 2 year home & away agreements. So this year the location is just flipping. We could’ve had STA, central,MNW,img, st Francis & bishop Gorman on the schedule ima still stand 10 toes down and say LINE DAT SH*T UP.

Honestly, with the team Dillard has returning and the additions their getting, if they hit the ground running, they can very well go 10-0. but with this sports stuff , we know teams start to hit their stride after a few games. our toughest games from toughest to least I’ll say. #1. DR.PHILIPS, this will be the first ever meet up between these two teams, so Dillard would have to adjust during the game to whatever they may throw at us. dr.philips was in the state semis last year with a 12-2 record. So they will be coming in to make a statement as well. #2. Ely(soul bowl) enough said. Records go out the window.

Exactly. That’s what I always assumed. That’s why when I was asking one of the sources connected to the football team who do we have for KOC ; And he said Dr.philips. That threw me through a loop because I’m already knowing we play Dr.philips in the showcase, which made me pause. Like hold up since when did the showcase take place on the week of KOC. so I still don’t know who we play for KOC , it has went from norland, to dr.Philips.

Don’t matter to me either way, long as we will. But for SOS purposes when it comes to playoff seeding I want the game to count.

I think the kick off class is rules are still the same, I think the biggest question mark was, was the broward vs USA showcase during kickoff classic week or the week after which would be week 1 and the answer I’m getting is the KOC is the week before the broward vs USA showcase which will be aug 13-15 & the showcase will be the 21-23

Keeping it real , a lot of these schools are just like iMG Sta, American Heritage, Chaminade for example. only difference is , iMG has dorms on campus & plays a 10 game national schedule, they don’t care about being apart of the FHSAA playoffs or winning a championship. And they still get Top D1 offers. where as chaminade, STA, American heritage, they may not have dorms on campus, but it’s a few kids I know personally that has lived with some of the coaching staff, they recruit/get transfers state wide and nationally. And that mad expensive tuition half the time don’t even be charged to the players they really wanna have on the team. but yet they still get to unfairly compete in the regular FHSAA playoffs and state championships.

Pretty much what I gathered above. Kick off classic games are to be played by no later then aug 15. being that the broward vs USA showcase starts August 21st-23rd, that means that every game being played on that week is officially your week 1 game, which will go on your record.

So that game does count. So it’s still unclear who we have for KOC lol

Ok so the showcase always happen during the KOC week ? If so that means the regular season starts August 29tj correct ? if that’s the case then that make sense why our game In 2022 counted against our record because rock creek was a out of state opponent. and being that we play Dr Philips this year. Even tho they will be an out of county opponent, they’re still a Florida team so the game won’t count.

Ok ok, and I was actually shocked when he transferred like bro yall just completed a state championship season and the schools first ever. There’s no other school you can go to that you can redo that feeling with.

Help me out football family , because I was up under the impression that for the last few years since BROWARD started the BROWARD vs USA weekend , my understanding was all games always took place week 1. Which mean the results go on each team record wether they won or lost. but I was just speaking to a “Trusted Source” because I was asking him who do we have for KOC, and he said Dr.Philips, but on the broward vs USA showcase website it has us playing Dr.Philips in the showcase. so I guess my question is , is this showcase week 1 of the regular season, or is it KOC for all teams, unless they’re playing a team from out of state. As Far As Recommendations Go. I will say…. West Broward Vs Corner Canyon Will Be A One to keep an eye on. West Broward and that staff has completely changed the culture of that program. The bobcats got a lot of transfers this off season and they’re coming off a very good 2024 season. Dillard Vs Dr.Philips (Battle of the panthers), this will be the Must See 8:00pm game of the broward vs USA showcase on 8/22/2025. Dr.Philips Went 12-2 last year, they’re constantly for the most part a 2 to 3rd round playoff team, who occasionally makes it to the state semis, like they did in 2024. Dillard Finished the Season 9-3 , Going 6-1 down the stretch, the bring back 90% of the team, with a few key additions, one of them being one of the top 10 Qbs in the state that transferred in from pace a few months ago. A South Florida Vs Central Florida Showdown, 1st times these two teams have ever faced off, this will probably be one of the best games of the showcase.

That central vs Raines game will be a snooze fest. Raines will be lucky to keep it within 30. and that’s no knock on Raines they’re a extremely solid program for the Jacksonville area. But as shown time and time again, especially down here in south Florida, there’s a difference between being State Good & Nationally elite. Raines is A Respectable Top 30 Squad in Florida, Miami Central is A Elite Nationally Ranked Powerhouse. And if it wasn’t for them having to forfeit their season last year, more then likely would have been state champions as well.

You basically just answered my post below b4 I knew you even posted this lol. So I was right they did play Lowndes. but you’re absolutely right. I’ve been saying this for years. As a south fl guy through and through, we will ALWAYS have top tier athletes. but one thing Florida has always been known for is undisciplined play. It’s been compared to back yard football sort of speak. While the teams in Texas, Cali & a good part of GA. Not only are they athletic & big as hell. But they hammer fundamentals. From the trenches OL, DL, special teams. Hell even their offensive schemes seem light years ahead of Florida. which is why even some of our best Florida teams struggle vs OOS opponents whose ranked like they’re. You can get away with alot of things when you’re superior in talent vs teams who’s not. But when you’re facing a team that recruit, get transfers like you do & etc especially from out of state ; Oh yeah that game is most definitely coming down to the better coached team.

If I’m not mistaken didn’t the bulls travel to Lowndes like 2 or 3 str8 years in like 18-20 , and I think two of those games were blowouts by Lowndes and one of them went down to the wire. I could be wrong tho.

True but I also think that part of Florida just don’t fare well vs south fl at all regardless of who they play in the regular season. notice that part of the state only see championships when they do the rural & metro split ups.
