just announced!, my panthers will be in a 954 vs 305 battle in the KOC for the 3rd year in a row. in 2023 Dillard Defeated Miami Norland 28-14 At Traz Powell. in 2024 Dillard Defeated Booker T 21-14 At Dillard Now in 2025 Dillard & them Vikings will be squaring off again, CANT WAIT.

It is. It’s every star player for the broward on the broward team and the same for dade. Been going on for years. but iMO That’s different from having the top 9 Broward teams vs the top 9 dade teams in a Broward vs dade classic to start the year, and it goes on your record. iMO that would be a huge money maker event.

That would still be a thing. But that happens after the seasons over. this would be teams vs teams, more would be on the line. Records, rankings, along wit county bragging rights

They should have been doing this. It’s almost criminal that they don’t. Instead of a KOC they should have a Broward vs Dade Classics. Top 10 Broward schools vs Top 10 dade schools. rank them, and the higher ranked school going into the new season would be the host. and let it be a weekend for bragging rights between counties/ a see how your team is stacked up. that would be a must see event year in year out. And the win or lost would go against your record, like it do when a Florida team play a OOS opponent in the KOC.

I get what you sayin. BTW vs Ely won’t be an Espn game if the week. But what I will say, whenever you have a 954 vs 305 matchup especially between two black schools it’s always gonna be a money game. County Bragging rights on the line.

This would be lit as hell actually. Put btw vs ely on a Friday night at ELY, The west @ Dillard Saturday night, talk about two sold out events. I would attend both.

I think it’s more than big enough, especially for Dillard. Not sure when the last time you been to Dillard but they added two more stands on the away side, and when it’s a huge game they add two more in the end zones. nothing like true “Homefield advantage” i know a lot of dade teams don’t have their own field where they play their home games so traz Powell is “HOME” for the likes of the west, central, norland and etc, but it’s something bout playing at yo school, on yo turf & you’re hosting a big game especially as a “HBCU” aka black high school. Give me MNW at Dillard all day. & man oh man sunrise would be shut down lol.

I don’t think it’s a forgone conclusion that the west would win. I can be a realist and say they most def would be the favorites. Especially with the overload of transfers they got so far this off season. but most def would be a sold out event. I made a post about this a few weeks ago on the portal on Facebook that I wanna see a Dillard vs MNW football matchup, and the post blew up lol.

That would’ve been a solid matchup to. And great exposure for Dillard who’s returning a great squad this year. Waiting for our schedule to drop, but I can see another 2 lost or less record this year with a 2nd round or further appearance.

Wish Dillard could’ve got in the broward vs USA slot this year. It’s been 2 years since we’ve been in it. the atmosphere that Saturday night, the exposure , the way the whole stadium was decorated for that game was like no other. and to top it off we won 35-0 in front of a standing room only crowd one of the top 5 DMV schools at the time. One of the best nights I’ll never forget.

Top Qb in his class will be at Qb for Dillard this spring and season. High GPA and everything a kid to keep an eye on. Rucker was at maternity academy last year. and this also comes after plantation high qb transferred to Dillard 2 weeks ago. LETS GO DILLARD!!

Next season is gonna be very interesting. Wish it was august already lol.

Last season was crazy headed into the playoffs with so much happening, this off season has seen so many transfers & changes & now this. & we’re only in February. what do this means for the rockets ? They always reload & never have to rebuild when it comes to talent, so I’m sure they will have another worthy head coach at the helm, that will keep them as #1 or #2 in dade county moving forward.

I remember playing for Dillard we flew to play East St. Louis flyers in a game Isaac Bruce vs his nfl teammate and his former high school. great trip. Only for East St. Louis to get fined and had to forfeit their entire season for having 30 ineligible players. 10 was over 19. One thing I can say they have a huge fan base a nice black inner city high school with tradition.

we’re only 11 days into 2025 & Just Wow Smh. West broward - in the last 5 days the bobcats have received 15 transfers and counting. Western- Since their football Season Came a halt vs Columbus, the wildcats has lost over 25 players while most of if not their entire coaching staff left for McArthur high school. McArthur- funny how a coaching change can immediately change things. Year after year they’re are constant door mats in regards to broward county football. But in the last 7 days, the mustangs have received so far 29 new transfers & we’re ONLY in January. with the majority of those players coming from western, 2 from Dillard, and a few other schools. What’s crazy is it’s like it’s monkey see monkey do most of these players jumping ship from all these schools to follow the new wave & the new “IT” school. A few years ago it was Deerfield, then it was Dillard, then it was Western, now it’s McArthur. i think the funniest stat about that is that coach chop was at Deerfield, they got a bunch of transfers, then he came to Dillard (Dillard got a bunch of transfers), western same thing, now McArthur. coach rob is a great coach, much respect for my dawg, met em a few times, in regards to the overall state of high school football in 2025 it’s insane.

Yeh I seen that but it’s only 1 for them. It’s 3 for us which is crazy. But expected.

Is broward the only county having all private schools representing in the state semis & not ONE public ? Smh lol. as a broward native when will the tide turn ? It’s like a revolving door year after year. It’s like as long as they’re in business or apart of the fhsaa it’s gonna be this way for a long time lol.

The goals is most def to catch atleast two games at fiu for the state championship this year. and I appreciate the love bro. The growth in this team most definitely impressed me. And that game vs heritage most definitely had me already for next season and we’re not even finished with this one yet lol.
