That’s the thing Dillard is not healthy our entire secondary is banged up, we have 2-3 key offensive pieces banged up & our starting qb is out for the season with a broken leg. we’ve been starting a backup freshman qb the last 4 games. This upcoming game not only got me nervous but the feeling that we were cheated in the final standings.

Idk they’re 10-0 and have been scoring dam near over 40 in the playoffs I can only pray the refs are unbiased

I just know playing on the road especially against these private schools can be tricky.

Heavy. 8-2 district champs on the road every round while plantation is the #3 seed after going (1-2) in their district

And then if we somehow made it out of that we would then have to travel to American heritage plantation in the 2nd round.

As a team you go (8-2) (4-0) in the district and you have to travel to face an undefeated team on the road. Ain’t that something.

I think what impressed me most about this season, was the amount of adversity we faced. Not playing for a month. Losing our starting qb in week 8 when we still had 3 district games to play that determines our post season. Having to start a freshman qb with no varsity experience, then having to play 3 games in 6 days to secure a playoff berth, while having your entire secondary & a few offensive players hurt. That’s a whole lot even for a professional team. & to still finish (8-2) & (4-0) in the district I’m so dam proud of this team.

(8-2) we went lol. @nolebull813 great regular season panthers now let’s see where we stand seeding wise.

I’m hoping for a top 4 seed but when I last looked in week 8 the playoff projections had at us at 6. With a second round matchup vs American heritage. hopefully this 4 game win streak to end the season allowed us to gain some ground. Because prior Archbishop was the 4th seed even tho they finished 0-4 in the district and plantation was the 3rd seed even tho they finished 2-2 in the district behind norland and American heritage.

I think the biggest 2 stats of the year that has stood out with me with Dillard. Is that last night Dillard completed their 5th shutout this season. and in our district Dillard shut out every single district opponent by a total score of (153-0) had that ever been done before @nolebull813 @Jullianor have yall ever seen it happen ?

I see lol. I actually thought Dillard would win by a score of 21-14 especially with Garcia coming in 7-2 their biggest lost was by 7. & we were playing our 3rd game in 6 days.

In regards to the garcia supporter I wish they had lol.

I thought the running clock always started at 30, when Dillard got to 30-0 the clock never stopped running. Even during timeouts.

I can’t even lie I didn’t even expect this this was our 3rd game in 6 nights that’s insane!! Even for pros let alone high schoolers. add that to garcia being a new opponent, (7-2) as well and undefeated in the district I thought this would be a lot closer especially with our starting qb being out for the season and basically our entire secondary was sidelined tonight due to injury. Nonetheless tho I’m so dam proud of our guys now it’s time to see where we stand tomorrow
