Dillard wins the Panther bowl. They been Panthers for longer. Dr Pepper has to replace too much. The QB won’t be the difference maker. The Dillard D will force him into some mistakes and they will capitalize.

DP’s offense seems to suit the QB well. Spread with a tough RB and a QB who can execute the read option well. He looks a lot like the 2017 QB who took them to a state title. 
No prediction, should be a close game.
DP should have a good season as they seem about level with last year’s team.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE- Dr.Phillips had a Kickoff classic game last Friday vs Boone Where They Won 31-7. 
 
DILLARDs coaching staff elected NOT to have a Kickoff classic this year for the first time in 4 decades. They wanted to solely focus on their week 1 opponent in Dr Phillips. How’s that gonna help or hurt Dillard in week 1 is yet to be seen, being that KOC are usually used to get out the kinks, nervousness & mistakes without it going on your record if you were to lose, where as in starting week 1 everything counts. 
DR PHILLIPS- the panthers of Orlando went (9-1) in the regular season & (12-2) overall including the post season losing a rematch game against the lake Mary rams at lake Mary. 
 
even tho the panthers graduated a lot of studs they are expected to be just as good if not better this year and will be looking to make a huge statement come this Friday. Hearing from their head coach he knows that the Dillard panthers are extremely fast and physical and their biggest key to get this road win is to keep our skill guys in front of them and not get in a foot race. 
 
DILLARD PANTHERS- The Dillard panthers went (8-2) last year including playing 3 games in 5 days to end the season in regards to two different hurricane scares early in the season. 
 
the Panthers of Dillard high school went (9-3) overall. Including a 24 point road playoff win vs a previous undefeated John Carroll Catholic team. 
 
Round 2- although they gave nationally ranked American heritage their toughest playoff game of the season the Dillard panthers season ended at the hand of the American heritage 24-14. 
 
The Dillard panthers come into the 2025 season with a very deep team. They have a 4* star qb that transferred in from plantation & another 4* C/2029 qb that transferred in from tru north. 
 
Dillard has Crazy speed up and down the roster including 4* WR Anthony Jennings Who we Call “SPEEDY” not only does he run track but he placed in 2nd place in the entire state of Florida. 
 
Dillard also has a Star Studded “RB” room where 2-3 different guys can come in and take it 60 yards for a TD. 
 
Our O Line & D Line  is NOT the biggest, but they are PHYSICAL & VERY fast. Which is what I think will work greatly in Dillards favor. 
 
PREDICTION- this Will be The First Ever Matchup Between these two Football programs so the familiarity with each other will be ZERO. So there’s gonna be a lot of in game adjustments between both coaching staffs. So the team that can punch the other team in the most first and make the least amount of mistakes is who I believe will win. 
 
I have DILLARD winning this one At Home, heavy recruits in attendance, televised game, New Turf Field, 8:00pm start, room only crowd, all the makes for a Home team victory.

What’s so crazy is Boone had 11 transfers this offseason, to Dr Pepper’s 2. 
 
So I was told that in those circumstances that Boone should run Dr P out of the stadium. 
 
I guess 11 transfers don’t mean as much as you think they do. So there’s no big deal. You will never hear a peep about Boone and Lake Howell But when a SFL team has 11 transfers who are mostly D1 guys then everyone starts getting all bent out of shape. 
 
it’s almost as if it was never about the amount of transfers at all. It was about the quality. Hmmmmmm 
you want some peanut butter with that JELLY!!!!!!! 

Was a good game between top 10 preseason teams in PBC. Pahokee led the entire game with Santaluces scoring with under 20 seconds left. 
 
Defensively, Pahokee is going to be really good. They have probably the top CB in the county, Willie Fitzgerald (SR) who transferred back from Moore Haven where he had 8 picks and 6 pick sixes. The top DT, CeeJay Embry had 2 sacks in the game and has multiple offers. Depth, especially on the DL will be key

the lack of discipline and fight I saw from Lakeland was borderline mind blowing. I know castle is no longer there but DAM!

Last year MNW received 28 transfers in 2 months 
This year they received 31 so far. I love today and truly believe he’s for the kids. But how do you think MNW became so good over night? , all those transfers not from the bulls district , hell a few of them are from broward county. 
 
so like most schools who recruit , of course the coaches care about the kids safety therefore getting them Ubers or picking them up. But we’re not gonna act like it’s not also to keep said high prospects on their team to also give them a much better chance to go all the way. This has been going on for years. Teddy fault is that he made it known what he’s doing without blatantly saying “in order to keep my current and future high profile prospects, i have to keep them happy and provided for” , that’s no difference then what TFA was penalized for. 
 
but because they’re a private school it was frowned upon. Northwestern was also investigated going into the playoffs last year for ineligible players. Central had to forfeit their season twice in 5 years because of “slick and sneaky behavior”

If it’s for something reasonable like a Gatorade and water donation & they reach out to the community of course I will help. 
 
it’s all within reason tho. 14,000 for a 3 day gym stay is unreasonable. 2,000 a week for food. Me & a few alumni would just get together and cook. 

So if Dillard wanted to do some of these things you would say no and not support.

You are making a good argument for what the rule ought to be or why the rule ought to be changed.   I'm telling you what the rule is.  Interestingly, I witnessed first hand the FHSAA deal with a case that was very similar to the (presumably, hypothetical) one you just described.  A family provided a kid with a bed for the night because that kid had an unfortunate family situation that would have left him homeless for the night had a teammate's family not stepped up and given him a place to stay for the night.  Yep, you got it, impermissible benefit.  Coach and school penalized. 
The difficulty is coming up with rules that can't be taken advantage of.  Where do you draw the line?   If paying for an Uber is OK, why can't you just buy the kid a car instead?  More convenient for all parties.  If you can buy a kid a meal, why can't you take his family grocery shopping and let them stock up?  Or, better yet, just give then a gift card and let them spend the money as they please.  What do you do when one school offers up a $1,000 gift card, but another school is willing to give the kid a $2,000 gift card?  Do we really want to turn high school sports into professional sports?

Mane!! I dam near cried driving by the stadium today, talk about massive overhaul. These home games this upcoming season is about to be INSANE! , and don’t let us host some playoff games. Man oh man. 
 
the blue end zones is gonna be LIT, even tho they are still working on the kinks and haven’t put the Words on each end zone yet. Plus the new score board still have to be put up. 
 
it’s still surprising as hell how fast their moving. Just 4 weeks ago I rode by and the field was nothing but dirt lol.

Ely lost some dudes including their elite QB. And none of those other teams outside of MAYYYBBEEEE Miramar has a chance. Maybe Dr Pepper, but I think Dillard gets em. 
 
Overall this is not a great schedule, but the positive is Dillard will get a lot of guys valuable playing time, and the record going  into the offseason of 10-2 or 11-1 will be attractive to studs who want to be apart of something on the cusp of taking the next step
