True but how many schools/rivalries have what you post??? Dillard/Ely. Rockledge/Cocoa(I hear). Glades Central/Pahokee. You mentioned Central/NW but how many Dade schools have “that rivalry?” No one. Used to b NW/Jackson.......not no more......Rockets/Bulls are an exception.

They’ve become a school that’s raided often. Being close to the Dade border(as Miramar). It’s gotta come down to coaching, or lack of, actually. Carol City pillaged Hallandale a few years ago. This year it’s Central. It’s bothersome, to an old timer, where school spirit, loyalty, & town/city rivalries were a big part of the games attraction.

Out of all the classifications, I think 8a, from all regions 1-4, is the most competitive of all classifications. The playoffs will be insane. There could b 8+ Legitimate Teams in the running for a state championship.

Rockledge gets a nice break going up to Region 2, away from American Heritage & Central, down south. at first blush Dunnelon & Bishop Moore are their competition in Reg 2.

It will count nationally, if you’re ranked, although not in the win-loss column. I like the KO Classic. If it counted as a win or loss, we might not see the good out of county matchups. I like a practice game. Jus my opinion.

For me: Venice @ NW bulls or Chaminade @ Dillard! Only chance to see Venice.....

Last time central played an outta state team, they got whooped & embarrassed. St Francis. It was ugly. St Francis with their 6, espn 300 , defensive players, play @ STA.......
