  1. One of the top tight end's in the state, if not the nation, is 2015 First Academy standout, Garrett Williams. Williams recently announced a top four schools of Auburn, Clemson, Stanford, and Florida State. Williams' father played at Florida State which may pay off for the Seminoles. However, Williams told me he is visiting Stanford on April 4 and will have a final decision a few weeks after.
  2. One name to look out for heading into spring football is Orlando Bishop Moore high offensive lineman, Parker Boudreaux. Boudreaux, is a 6-foot-5, 268-pound man-child who is currently just a sophomore and is impressing many colleges early on in the recruiting process. "I'm more of a run blocker than a pass blocker because of the system my school runs, which is the Wing-T. But I can also pass block well," said Boudreaux. Boudreaux tells me that he is receiving early recruiting interest from the likes of Rutgers, Penn State, Florida, Stanford, and Florida State among others. Known for his aggressive, smash mouth style on the field, Boudreaux is also one of the best overall athletes around for his size. Boudreaux had the top 40-yard dash time, vertical jump, and agility shuttle at the Nike Orlando NFTC. He also posted a 83.49 SPARQ rating at the Orlando Nike SPARQ combine.
  3. On Monday night, the Temple Owls picked up a south Florida commitment from 2015 Flanagan defensive back Adrienne Talan. Talan who was offered by the Owls almost a week go really likes the relationship he had with the coaches. He said "Temple is my best option as of now." He doesn't hold any other offers as of now. "They were straight forward with me and they told me how the school was and how the defense is," said Williams. "They promised me a great education and that I would learn a lot about football and have fun too." The six-foot-one, 185-pound defensive back made his commitment official by tweeting "@adriennetalan Im proud to say I am a Temple commit"
  4. It appears 2014 Champagnat Catholic defensive tackle Travonte Valentine is down to two finalists as he has cancelled his visit to Texas this weekend his head coach told me today. Mike Tunsil, the Champagnat Lions head coach told me today that he is only considering Miami and LSU. The Hurricanes and Tigers are both expected to visit Valentine at school sometime tomorrow or Friday. Valentine is visiting LSU on January 24 and Miami January 31. Valentine is expected to announce on National Signing Day, which is February 5.
  5. 2014 Cypress Bay cornerback Deion Hallmon tells me he is visiting Nebraska this weekend. Hallmon has already taken official visits to Northern Illinois and Syracuse. Hallmon also added that he will plan more visits based on how the visit to Nebraska goes.
  6. 2014 American Heritage-Plantation DT Edgar Cerenord is a prospect whose recruitment really took off during his senior season. Cerenord tells me he is taking an official visit to Duke next weekend (Jan 17.) He also has official visits planned to Purdue and Tulane. Cerenord, was offered by Miami about a month ago. However, he tells me the Hurricanes are not really recruiting him anymore. Cerenord plans to announce his college decision on National Signing Day on February 5.
