  1. Didn't know this on either fact. Now this some history worth keeping around.
  2. I am building up a list now of games I would like to see as well and I agree about the Valdosta games. They are on my list as we speak for Week 1. My intern Nash is building up his list now. There is going to be some great games this season and as I get the rest of the schedules up we will be able to discuss which games are the best each and every week.
  3. Been told by the GMAC that Curtis Park is having some issues with the soil and that involves the playing field for the teams as well. Have not been told if this could affect where games are played at this year, but one coach I talked to told me if they can't get the issues fixed soon, he would suspect that FIU North and FIU South will pick up more games to help handle the loss of a stadium. Miami-Dade has seven stadium sites teams play at during the season, with FIU South being number eight, with only just one game a year for the annual Belen Jesuit vs. Columbus show down. All of this is a big reason why dates have not been determined for any of the games in MIami-Dade County.
  4. Guys we had something when did an update in our software. It happened to do an accidental dump of the members instead of the spam accounts we had so many of that kept registering (still why it did this I don't know and I wish It never happened). Safeguards have since been put in place to make sure that doesn't happen again. Second, it is the off season, but things are about to pick up. Plus a lot of people don't post during the offseason anyways and sometimes it hard when content is not there. I am not going to post crap on here just to generate a conversation or two. I want meaningful topics.to be posted that generates the right conversation. Third, why would you discourage from people posting here? The effort is to let people know so more come over here. By suggesting to go elsewhere defeats the purpose and will slow the board down even more. That is just me though, but I want to see more users over here. I have nothing against the National Board, because that is Dallas Jackson's site and we are working together to help each other out, but again, saying one board is better than the other doesn't do us any good here if you all can't point this out to Florida fans on the national board. You can post a link to encourage fans to come over and signup, but I can't. I might post links more often there just to see how fans react. Fourth, I have been working behind the scenes to make things even better here. I wear many hats around here and I do a lot that I don't disclose because of business reason.. Fifth, We are working on a lot MVP Premium content and a lot of it will involve previews and other information. Some of it will be free and we are going to make things interactive between the main site and the message boards. I think when you all see it, you all will appreciate it a lot. Finally, you are not going to to find a better site that cares about all the teams from Pensacola to Key West. Florida topics tend to get buried in the national board, but not encouraging people to come over and check out things don't do us any good. We can only do so much. It is up to you to help us provide that next step in the word of mouth and tell everyone else we are here.
  5. The Miramar vs Hallandale game is a kickoff classic. Does not count on the record.

Team entry is $125 For the Lineman team is $100 For a school to have both the cost is only $200 7 on 7 teams can have 24 players max. The Lineman Team can have to 8 players max. 8. FHSAA signed off today on a two-year extension of keeping the State Finals in Orlando through the 2015-16 season. Finals will likely find a new home in 2016 due to many conflicts on the sports schedule in December 2016 LINK: http://floridahsfootball.com/2014/05/28/fhsaa-state-football-finals-stay-orlando-two-years/
  9. Glad to see some constructive debate on here. This is what I like to see on the forums!
  10. Our intern Jay Manson gives us an evaluation on First Coast and why he sees a possible state title run likely for the Buccaneers this season. LINK: http://floridahsfootball.com/2014/05/26/evaluation-could-first-coast-be-in-line-to-make-a-state-title-run/
  11. Ok...talked to a reporter at the Palm Beach Post. Suncoast is NOT leaving District 6A-15. What ever information was told to Dilliard and you is not correct. This would have been a weird move considering the time of the year and the fact that Suncoast would have had to fill in at least four to five other spots on the schedule. This is why I thought this sounded fishy to start with. So Suncoast is staying put and 6A-15 remains at six teams.
  12. I am wondering if you are getting Suncoast and Inlet Grove mixed up? Is that possible?
  13. Teams can't just swap districts in the middle of an alignment period. You either stick with what you are assigned or go independent. Only two options you got in the middle part of the alignment period.
  14. Who told you Suncoast was leaving? Last I looked they are still in the District. The District has only lost two teams.
  15. Just finding out about this. I will check with Dallas Jackson at NationalHSFootball.com to see what he knows before I officially jump the gun here. As for teams always traveling, a lot of these games involve promoters. In such sense, the FHSAA takes 30 to 35 percent of the gate on these games before anyone else gets paid. Cocoa and Fort Pierce Central, I think got the games they are hosting with St. Frances (MD) and Don Bosco Prep (NJ) on their own, so I think they are not having to deal with this. But most of these OOS games came through third party companies that are in it for profit and the FHSAA wants a share of it and these guys are not willing to go with it, so they go elsewhere that doesn't have this kind of rule.
  16. Actually Archbishop McCarthy is gone as well...its now a 6 team district.
  17. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix of Alabama and Dr. Phillips alum is officially off the board at Pick #21 by the Packers.
  18. Make that now five Florida guys off the board in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Calvin Pryor of Louisville and Port St. Joe alum has been picked at #18 by the Jets.
  19. And Jerry Jones might pull the trigger on Johnny Football!
  20. Four Florida guys now off the board... OLB Ryan Shazier of Ohio State and Plantation alum was taken with the #15 pick overall by the Steelers.
  21. Khalil Mack OLB from Buffalo and a Fort Pierce Westwood is heading to Oakland as the #5 pick overall.
  22. Buffalo traded up to get Sammy Watkins out of Clemson. Watkins a WR is a South Fort Myers alum.
  23. First Florida player and first QB off the board is...Blake Bortles going to the Jaguars!
