I respectfully disagree @nolebull813. The biggest thing is here is open enrollment which was NOT an issue 15-20 years ago. That is a massive issue in larger areas teams can get really good and keep adding talent and then when you get that matchup between two similar sized schools in a state championship with one from South Florida and one from where ever in North or Central Florida, there is a mismatch. Please tell me how a team like Suwannee who has 1,112 students and Miami Central who has 1,396 students are on the same leveled playing? They are not. No way they are not. You cannot even compare a rural-type school in Suwannee to a Miami Central in the middle of Miami. There is no comparison. It is night and day between the two.

Alright, I took the time to figure out the scenarios for the state semifinals and what the possible matchups could look like based upon the final FHSAA Power Rankings that were used to seed the regional playoff brackets.

All the pairings have been compiled with game dates and times set for Thanksgiving weekend playoff football!

So apparently I have had to bat back again against some spammy issues, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the forums, but more so the main website. Finally the server company is listening to me. In the mean time I might have found where the new issue cropped in at and handled it once I got back from the wild and amazing game between Buchholz and Pace. That game was playoff football!

The forums are back online finally after much dismay when someone hit the server with a malware ad attack that took days to figure out where the issue was. This affected things from the website loading properly to the forum software working correctly. With all that said, everything is back online now the software that runs the forums is now 100% up to date as well.

I am getting ready to move FloridaHSFootball.com to a new server for the first time since 2016. Unfortunately the operating system for the server has expired and the RAM is starting to become a little outdated and slower. I have been able to find a significant upgrade with a different company for around the same price I am paying now per month with a new company as the current company that hosts the current server has gone downhill the last few years and I have held out hope they would want to keep a longtime customer (they don't want to). The speeds will be more powerful once migration of the current server happens and moves to the new server and it is going to be running on SSD drives versus HDD drives. Once this happens, I will be announcing some new projects in development. I will share more on when the migration will happen (Hopefully tomorrow to have migration happen). Josh

A lot of various changes happened we had to get corrected schedules (teams kept dropping others at the last second which is very frustrating). However, about to drop the schedule book myself and someone else worked on over the last few months in a few minutes.

The first posts are going up now!

Starting today (June 9) I will be publishing anywhere from 3 to 5 schedule breakdowns daily leading up to the 2022 season for any team that reached the playoffs or at least achieved 5 wins during the 2021 season. This will result in over 275 breakdowns. South Florida teams will come a little later as I am still waiting on schedules to come out from teams in Broward and Dade. The first three teams that will be up include Jacksonville Ed White, Tampa Jesuit and Arcadia DeSoto County. Apparently the server company decided to cut the server off on me yesterday not because of a failed payment because my bank decided to change out cards (I thought I had it setup ACH, but that wasn't the case) and I forgot (with a very busy May) and instead of emailing me properly they just turned it off, but things are back on now. Hopefully I won't have to deal with that again for a very long time. But we are back up... so I apologize for that.

Please do not post individual schedules to the forums and threads at this time. You call can discuss things, but as contracts just opened up as of yesterday, things could change for some teams. I am also working on things to have team schedules in one centralized place, and the forums are not the place for them for where I want people to find them. Discussing them is fine, posting them in full is not at the moment.
