  1. And for those keeping score at home, public schools are guaranteed at least half the championships. So no, the privates aren’t stealing all the titles. Lol.

Hell public can take 5 of 8 if Jones takes care of business

I'm sure everyone figured he would have flipped one of those two games. I was really hoping it wasn't the Lake Mary and Vero game because I felt pretty good about West Boca.

Yeah it a tough call. The whole thing comes down to the decision of just 2 games. That’s how slim the margin for error is. It was a good pick em season. I think there was about 20 people which was a good amount. I seen on 2 national boards who ran national pick ems im not sure they had near 20.

Can’t wait to do it next year

  3. What’s funny is @imjustafan2 private messaged me his picks and had the same as @THAT S--T WAS FUNNY except the West Broward/West Boca game and the Lake Mary/Vero game.

I told him to change one because he would have had to have both games correct, and he chose to change the Lake Mary/Vero game and keep West Broward.

So had he kept Lake Mary instead of WB, and they win, he would have won. Lol

Virginia separates them as well, except for Liberty (University) Christian, who for whatever reason(s), decided they wanted to play in the public division and with their battalion of lawyers, told the VHSL they would sue them into Bolivia/oblivion if they opposed it. The Junior Pool Boys program has dominated Class AAA since they were admitted.

Same for Texas: they separate the privates into the TAPPS league, but for whatever reason, Dallas Jesuit and Houston Jesuit participate in the UIL, (the main state organization)

So there are 1,200 plus public schools and 2 private schools. But neither has ever won a title or even sniffed it

  5. Some of those schools don’t have football so the list will be smaller.

and i already seen multiple 3-4 team districts. That’s garbage.

This is a (very small) step in the right direction but they need to get down to 5 total classes with 1 open division for teams who get 6 football transfers or more before the playoffs start

I do not use it in for high schools. I did use home field advantage several years ago in a somewhat futile attempt to keep accuracy pace with Joe Pinkos who did not use home field advantage. But it's basically meaningless. It works out to less than 1/2 point per game on average. Anyway, the last time I used home field advantage for high schools, it was around 0.34 points.

Yeah and if you take Venice out of the equation, it’s closer to 0.00 :P

So what is up with the UNFIT Pickems (aka The Unfickems)?  Is it just me but it looks like this thread faded to . . .  Are the current results on another thread?  I had $ on Nulli to win this outright.

So it was a combination of incompetence and carelessness. Typical for a the Fit tournament
