  3. Sounds like the FHSAA needs to ditch the clown show maxpreps rankings they use and use yours
  4. 74 percent for a new product is outstanding. It’s hard to get 74 percent as a human. Lol. Do you think the winning percentage is higher in these later weeks because there is so many mismatch games, or do you think it’s adjusting week by week and getting better accordingly?
  5. So crazy. STA can play any FL team and look like an all star professional team. But the second they play a non-FL team they can’t block, can’t catch or can’t hold on to the football.
  6. Brutal. STA playing so poorly: not sure if it’s because of the travel or because the team they are playing is not from FL so the coaching, discipline and execution is better. But this is a hard watch on the eyes
  7. It was 2013. Im not sure much else. I can’t find any other info about most points in a season. They did score 752 total that year including playoffs but the article didn’t mention if that is the all time record for the state
  8. You would have to average 66 per game. Lol.
  9. I think the regular season record for points is 529 by Apopka

  14. I’m just throwing it out early because this is a fall break week so anyone might be on vacation struggling to get picks in. Me included. Lol. it was also the toughest week to find games. By far the weakest week of the season up to this point. 16. The 2 hardest things keeping Florida from cutting down the classes like they should are the FHSAA, because more brackets means more gate money from extra playoff games. And the coaches/AD’s who want an easier road. Coaches and AD’s are going to want the path to least resistance because it’s job security and legacy on the line. Hell they would probably all be for more classes! The only positive I can find is the extra games with there being extra brackets is more exposure for kids for college. The negative is it makes a lot more wasted blowouts and teams advancing further than they ever would if the brackets were trimmed down like they are supposed to be. So bottom line is the extra exposure for kids worth the poor product and wasted blowouts?
  17. @LAZ Deland Bartow Manatee Norland Pace Royal Palm MNW C Mooney Monsignor Pace South Plantation
  18. Yes, the records by themselves are somewhat out of context. Because powerhouses in the small classes can beat the tar out of average to below average large schools. No one ever cries when the public’s beat the privates. The outrage only goes in one direction. i remember a 2nd round loser in rural beat the 2A private school state champ. No one said a word. Countless of examples. They need to cut the classes to 5, and have an open championship for any team who gets 5-7 NET (agree on a number) of football transfers. Emphasis on net. Because if you lose 10 guys, 5 isn’t really doing as much as if you lost no one. If you don’t like it, go to the SSAA or independent. Let stop the participation trophies and watered down blowouts
  19. I like it. Rural proving they don’t need their special own little class. The main thing I get from all this, is there is way too many classes.

  24. Those schools are at least 15 miles away. If the parents want to foot that travel twice a day then God Bless
  25. Nowhere to go. They are the only school in the county. Lol.
