The FHSAA, just like any business, will only make decisions based on money and not the concern of the product making them the money. I can bet you anything they don't sit around saying how can we make it easier on teams, but rather how can we make the most money. Honestly, the FHSAA will only compact the classes down if 1 of 2 things happen. The same amount of total playoff games are played. OR the money they receive from the playoff games is increased to make up for the loss of games. There are 96 games in the 1st round of the playoffs. You would have to figure out how to compact the top 6 classes into 4 without lessening the amount of games under 96.

I think teams shouldn't be chained to the class that their enrollment states. I know teams petition to move up, but I think if a team has less than a .333 winning percentage during a cycle , then the FHSAA can move them down if it fits logistically. And if teams have a winning percentage of .850 then I think they can be moved up. That way your not just bound by enrollment, but rather give enormous flexibility to even the playing field.

Yeah they have improved. 2 years ago they were getting waxed by 1A teams by 30-40 points. Let's just hope Santa Fe is gonna go way up the 3rd year under Wiles, and Coffee is graduating ALOT of personnel. That's the only shot Santa Fe has.

I just checked the old Plantation vs Dillard thread from way back in early September, I predicted Dillard going 8-3, losing in the first round to MNW. looks like after all the hate you said I had against Dillard, they did worse than I expected. Lol I said they would go 8-3, but they went 8-4. Lol But I think this is about as good as a season as Dillard can have. Hope you enjoyed it!

I'm not gonna kick you when your down. It's gotta be a tough one to lose to your rival. But let me ask you. Did the starters for both teams play? I know it got out of hand, but did the game begin with both teams starters in for a while?

I just want to let everyone on here know that what I posted about Haines City was not accurate. I assumed I spoke to the Athletic Director when I was transferred to the athletic department. I didn't confirm that, and by not confirming my information, I wrote very inaccurate information about Haines City. I apologize to Coach Johnson about the unfortunate error. My intentions were, and still are to help him, and his team acheive a bowl game. Anyone that knows me on the message boards, or websites, know I have love and passion for all things Florida high school football. I just wanted to take this time to apoplogize.

The head coach needs to talk to the AD. I specifically called Haines City to tell them about Spruce Creek, and the AD told me that some of the kids are going to play basketball, so they were gonna pass. I didn't make this up, or pull it out of a hat. If he wants a bowl game so bad, why not post it on the FHSAA website for all the teams to see? Go play Spruce Creek. Don't come on here and report people and say they are liars.
