STA is much more disciplined, and Northwestern is too raw to compare. The athletes for Northwestern will not be able to handle the intelligence and athleticism of STA. it's hard to explain, but STA has football players who are more than just fast. They overall are more complete football players.
I see this as a big time win. Something like 31-10 STA

There is one thing I can tell you. Dillard has a zero percent chance of beating Central. They are the number 1 team in the country for a reason.
I honestly want Dillard to be as great as you say so they can hopefully win in Texas

I don't know if you guys get the playoffs, but Dillard is 6A District 15. Miami Central, Northwestern, Carol City, and Norland are in District 16.
In the playoffs, the district champion from district 1 plays the runner up from district 2 in the first round. Vice versa. The champion from district 2 plays the runner up from district 1.
So if Dillard is district champ, they will play the runner up from district 16 in the first round. Which will be more than likely Northwestern. It could be Carol City or Norland as well.
Even if Dillard pulled the big upset in round 1, then they will have to play Miami Central in round 2.
Just be happy, and consider it a very successful season if you make it to round 2. Round 1 is your state title game. Lol

I watched the spring game, and did see the touchdowns called back. I hope that Martin kid at QB can get it done. I want them to be great so they will have a better shot in Texas.

I'm more critical of Dillard because they are playing in Texas. I know Texas is the biggest rival to Florida in which state has the bragging rights, and it will look bad if they lose to Stephenville.
I want to know if this team has the horses to go to Texas and win. I don't has as much confidence as you guys do.
And it's a little bias to think they will give Northwestern a game in the 1st round. You better hope you don't get runner up, and have to play Central first. Lol.

DHS, what is Dillard really packing? They lost in the spring game, and couldn't get nothing going on offense.
I think the lose to Plantation, Stephenville, and Ely. They do play in.the worst district in 6A.
They will get steamrolled out of the 1st round.
Can you convince me, other than saying look out, we're gonna be good?

I am excited to see how the Florida teams handle the out of state teams. Its far away, but i think the game of the year will be Booker T Washington vs University in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

If my predictions are correct, it would mark the 1st football State Title in Pinellas County history, Manatee County would take sole possession of 10th place, Dade would tie Palm Beach with most all time and Leon would be 1 title away from tying Duval for 3rd all time

Of the top Counties, i think Dade gets 2 with Booker T and Central. I dont see University beating them in the playoffs. Leon County has Godby, Lincoln, and North Florida Christian as contenders, but i only see Godby as a serious threat. STA should bring it home for Broward, and if University could score the upset, that might make 2 for Broward this year. my predictions are....

3A Clearwater Central Catholic

Here is something kind of interesting. the Walton Braves are in Class 4A with over 1,000 students, and they are playing an eye-popping 6 teams from 1A Rural!!!!
Blountstown, Freeport, Holmes County, Northview, Chipley, and South Walton.
Its a gas saver, but come on! lol

found another...........American Heritage vs Lakeland Kathleen. This was put together just to fill schedules, just like the others, but it will be interesting for Kathleen fans to get a look at Sony Michel in his final regular season game

Another random, interesting game would be 2A State Champ coming all the way from Jacksonville to Tampa, to take on poor defenseless Carrollwood Day School.
It is gonna get ugly. running clock before half. lol.

Other high games that are high profile games would be University vs Manatee, and St Thomas Aquinas vs Miami Northwestern.
also Miami Northwestern is playing Glades Central.

Here is one. Bolles at Hernando week 1. Normally you wouldn't see Bolles travel down to the middle of no-where. Brooksville of all places to play a game. I cant remember Bolles coming this far down Southwest to play a regular season game. When I seen this game listed, I just looked at it as such a random and interesting game

What I mean by the subject is can anyone find an in state game between 2 schools that seems very random, and interesting. maybe they never played before, or any circumstance.
for example, 3A University from Ft Lauderdale traveled all the way North to play 7A Leesburg of all teams. it was a strange match up.

you know whats so stupid about Armwood and Plant not playing week 1 is Armwood is playing a non-district game, and Plant is open, scrambling for a game. So the AD could easily put them together for a week 1 game, and dropped the ball.
