When he was at Cocoa he would play teams he had a zero percent chance of beating. He would schedule games he knew was an auto loss just to be able to take his team sight seeing. Now with New Smyrna Beach it’s the opposite. The non district schedule has got to be one of the worst in the state. Ridley PA went 12-2 last year and scheduled to play 0-10 Taravella who lost 91-0 last year. Now why the hell would you think to play freaking Taravella? Why would you pay thousands of dollars to travel and play a team who would get beat by a lot of JV teams? It’s the KSA events fault. They give the applications to the OOS teams and they start with the worst teams until someone agrees to play. But you have to blame the OOS coach for being a puss. And you have to blame the FL coach for agreeing to play a team way out of their league. It’s just stupid to have that mindset

It’s not just the top team. It’s teams that are top 10 in their state and they come here to play glorified junior varsity teams

Cherry Creek was number 1 in CO and they played national top 25 Chandler AZ tough losing 17-7

Ralston Valley CO went 9-3 and finished top 10 in Colorado. And they are playing Colonial FL who didn’t even finish top 400 in FL alone Chatfield won the state title in CO and finished top 5 in state. And they are playing Pt St Lucie who didn’t finish top 200 here.

Yeah Colorado is the worst of this followed by Georgia

Not sure. Hilliard can be converted into a middle school and all the high school kids could go to West Nassau. They can expand the school to make room. it’s time. And I’m ready

Is there something to point to that would make the case for Suwannee being at an advantage against Columbo High? What does Suwannee got that should make them competitive against a team a few classes above them? This is a team closer to 1,000 in enrollment against a team closer to 2,000 in enrollment. With no major city nearby, and no new jobs to attract people to. This rivalry has been outgrown.

And why does Nassau County have 4 high schools? Makes no sense. Gadsden County has 45,000 people and just merged into one school. Nassau Co has 85,000 and has 4 high schools. Realistically, West Nassau and Hilliard should merge together. Combined they would have about 1,700 kids.

Yule’s coach came from Rockledge where they know how to attract talent. If your remotely competent at the game of football and you live in Nassau County, Yulee would be the one school you would want to be at now. They are trending up as much as Nassau County team can. Lol.

Yeah I get what you are saying. Guys like Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers have crazy numbers because of their longevity. Philip Rivers is 5th all time in passing. He’s gotta be in. But the game changed so much he was never an elite QB at any time imo. He was good to above average. But you can’t deny his stats. It’s hard to justify not putting in a guy who is top 5 in the history of the game

I think he should be in the hall of fame no question. Maybe not first ballot depending on the other names, but he’s gotta eventually get in. There is no justification to having Andre Reed and Art Monk in and not Boldin im not saying they aren’t considering Boldin, I’m just trying to make the case he deserves it

They played one year of varsity football last year. If they don’t actively recruit studs from all over the DMV area then Dillard should cruise
