Fixing the districts

Since we are fixing the playoff system, perhaps we could fix the districts to

 

CLASS 8A

District 5: Cypress Creek, Dr. Phillips, Freedom, Oak Ridge, Olympia

District 6: Alonzo, Manatee, Newsome, Palm Harbor, Riverview, Sarasota Riverview 

District 7: Gateway, George Jenkins, Haines City, Osceola, Ridge

District 8: Centennial, FP Central, Treasure Coast, Vero Beach

 

The problem: Anybody in District 6 has to drive through District 7 to get to District 5  

 

Solution

Switch 6 and 8 and have 6 travel to nearby 7 since they would have to travel through them anyway

Make 5 travel to 8 which wouldn't be going out of the way that much

 

 

 

CLASS 6A

The problem: District 13 consists of Deltona, Mainland, Matanzas, New Smyrna Beach, Pine Ridge, Seabreeze. Since when is Volusia County in the South.

 

Solution

The number listed is the current district, obviously that would change   

 

NORTH II

District 5: Gainesville, Lake Weir, Leesburg, Ocala Forest, Vanguard 

District 13: Deltona, Mainland, Matanzas, New Smyrna Beach, Pine Ridge, Seabreeze

District 8: Auburndale, Lake Gibson, Lake Region, Lake Wales, Sebring

District 14: Bayside, Heritage, Jensen Beach, Okeechobee, Eau Gallie Sebastian River

 

SOUTH I

District 6: Land O'Lakes, Mitchell, Springstead, Sunlake, Pasco

District 7: Armwood, Blake, Brandon, Chamberlain, Hillsborough, King

District 9: Boca Ciega, Clearwater, Dixie Hollins, Largo, Northeast, Osceola 

District 10: Cape Coral, Charlotte, Ida Baker, Island Coast, North Ft Myers, Port Charlotte  

 

SOUTH II

District 11: East Lee County, Estero, Fort Myers, Lehigh

District 12: Barron Collier, Golden Gate, Naples, Palmetto Ridge 

District 15: Boyd Anderson, Boyton Beach, Dilliard, Northeast

District 16: Carol City, Central, Hialeah Miami Lakes, Norland, Northwestern

 

 

CLASS 5A

 

The problem: Since when is Orlando and Lake counties in the SOUTH

 

Solution 

 

NORTH II

District 5: Clay, Menendez, Palatka, Ridgeview, Orange Park, Baker County

District 6: Belleview, Eastside, North Marion

District 7: Central, Citrus, Crystal River, Hernando, Lecanto, Nature Coast, Weeki Wachee

District 13: Bishop Moore, Eustis, Poinciana, South Lake, Tavares

      First I want to express my apologies for my absence the last few months. Without going into much detail I have had some personal life struggles I have been dealing with on top of figuring out the direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com in. Things have finally settled out some over the last few weeks although I am not completely out of the woods just yet. Some of the decisions about what direction to take FloridaHSFootball.com have been forming over this time while I went through things. Part of me wondered if it was time to go, but really it is not at all. Thankfully, a loyal supporter near me in Gainesville decided to put their mouth where their money is and did a little investing and today FloridaHSFootball.com launched its first-ever Mobile App. With that said it comes with the sunset of the MVP Membership Subscriptions and thus FloridaHSFootball.com will be 100% free for the first time in a while. This comes as needing to get the clearances with Apple and Google and the current subscription platform we have is not syncing with Apple's system nor with the App itself. Its best we go in this direction to grow fans again and being able to put them facing forward with an app on their phone going forward. It seems every day these things find ways to pass through control systems.       They can definitely beat Central. My bulls is a toss up but I feel we should have the edge. EJ will be hard to stop though. Glad they not in 2A with us.

      Blountstown at WS Neal AL Sept 27th. Also the Tate vs. Faith Academy game is no more. Tate will be playing Escambia instead now.
