(8-11) NORTHEAST VS (21-5) DILLARD TONIGHT

Recommended Posts

Even though i believe dillard should win this handily i dont believe as a #! seed that swept there district should have to play in a game like this ....thats why you played 2 times each in the season to determine the district champion. and if a teams win all there district games during the season that mean there the champions.

A game like this is very dangerous simply because 1 team can have a off night and the other team could find fools Gold for 1 night and hit eveyrthing anything can happen when your playing a team for the 3rd straight time. in one year.

i'm all for having the higher seeds battle it out for the right to be district runner up but not the champion because tonight it will be win or go home for them 2 ....which i believe its pointles to have the district games count in the regular season if your going to have this type of game in the districts. northeast should be eliminated in my opinion while pines charter and boyd anderson battle it out tonight.....THOUGHTS.....

Not happening Mighty.  Dillard can make up for an off night shooting with it's strong rebounding.   I understand your train of thought here and if it was a team like Boyd Anderson who you already beat twice , I would call it dangerous.   However, Northeast is 8-11 and lost their last game on 1/23 to Liberty Christian Prep who is 6-9.  Liberty Christian Prep ain't prepping Northeast for anything when they hit the floor vs Dillard! Dillard will eventually control the flow of this game and win by double digits with ease.

LOL BROWARD SAY CHRISTAN PREP not prepping northeast for anything that there going to see lol. i have faith they will win handily its just dangerous these teams play every year it wouldnt even shock me if dillard escaped by just 8 to 10 points. but heres to a win and a injury free game.

Dillard has played some very tight games of late but the caliber of a Coral Springs or Ely is just stronger than that of a Northeast.  I would take escaping by 8-10 point wins all day!  I see your point though, it is like having to play a team twice in High School Football - ask AHP about Hallandale?   The difference is Hallandale was nationally ranked when they upset nationally ranked AHP.  Dillard is on a whole 'nother level than Northeast in basketball (or anything for that matter) !

Don't sweat this one too much Mighty!

OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YOU GOT THE JOKES TODAY MAN LOL IM TELLING YOU BUT I LOOK FORWARD TO A DOMINANT GAME BY MY PANTHERS TONIGHT...BUT LETS KEEP IN CONSIDERATION NORTHEAST DID ONLY LOSE TO ELY BY 1 AND THEY DID BEAT PINES CHARTER. O THEY CAN HAVE THOSE TYPES OF GAMES....BUT IN ALL HONESTY I CAN SEE IT BEING A CLOSE GAME AT HALF TIME NORTHEAST MAYBE BE LUCKY AND HAVE A 1 OR 2 POINT LEAD AT HALFTIME...BUT I SAY DILLARD WEAR THEM DOWN IN THE 2ND HALF AND SEND THEM HOME FOR GOOD.

    • Perhaps the best RB in Tampa Bay iin 2023 saw his program close, and is looking for a home. If he stays in the area,Venice is a good bet. (Lakeland may be as well).
    • And if that same newsletter asked the Osceola County Sheriff Department, what do you think the response would be? If you asked, members of the Chamber of Commerce? (Essentially a union of businesses) If you asked a group of nurses? If you asked a group of lawyers? Also a union cares about the working conditions of their members, but the working conditions of teachers are the learning conditions of students as well. People are attracted to careers because of the values that come with those careers. Political Parties attract people based on their values. So it shouldn't be surprising that certain professions attract certain people in certain careers. You act as if the principal's first question when we have a 5,000+ teachers shortage in this state is "who do you vote for? And are you a member of the union?"
    • I feel like y'all are always solid so I don't see y'all going no worse than 7-3. Biggest question mark for Cocoa is their O-line since they are only returning 1 and on the defensive side they only return their blue chip edge in their front 7
    • Coach Wiseman, let me just preface this by saying that you were the best HC Sarasota's program has had in the last 20+ years. You brought them from being a perpetual losing program to the doorstep of competing with Venice for a district title and a deep playoff run. SHS will curse the day they fired you now that they are back in a rut. You are a true class act, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.  Our backfield is certainly sparse right now. We do have Dorian Jones, a rising sophomore runningback whom did considerably well considering his limited playing time last season. Our offense will need an overhaul with the graduation of 3 offensive linemen and almost our entire receiving corps. Our defensive line will be strong with the return of Ke'shawn Vaughn, Elijah Jones, and Asharri Charles. Our linebacking corps graduates virtually everybody but should have at least one bright spot with the return of Ben Zarkawiecz. Our defensive backfield is still a work in progress with the graduation of Lester and Platt. At the moment, we have more question marks than exclamation points. And that's not a good feeling with the kind of competition Venice is going to face.
    • It's possible that they find their stride by week 5, but at the moment we just don't have the on-paper talent to compete with teams like Miami NW, IMG National, Cocoa, or Bishop Verot. If Venice can find a way to go 7-3 with that schedule I would be happy
